Y/N's POV:
Before my brain could comprehend what my feet were doing, I was running. And very, very fast. Although I had two advantages, the baseball bat, and I knew this place inside out, she also had two advantages. My arm, and her knife. I ran to the stairs, scolding myself for not bringing my phone. I ran up to the third floor, Becuase I knew that was the easiest floor to loose her own, Becuase of all of its hallways and rooms. I turned a right corner, and then a left, and then another right. I continued to sprint, and mentally cursed as I moved my arm during one of the sharp turns. I took one more left turn, and practically dived into the first closet that was there. I slammed the door shut, and kept the lights off, and just seconds after, I heard her footsteps running past. I sighed in relief.
I decided the dorm was the worst place to head to right now, since that would probably be the first place she would come looking for me. Outside would be my best bet, because I could get help that way easier, not to mention, she's technically not able to slaughter me in public. I shuttered at the thought. Once I heard her footsteps round the corner and disappear without a sound, I slowly opened the door. And instantly regretted it. She hadn't turned the corner after all..what a pabo I was. She stood there, in front of me, her arm outstretched, ready to use the knife to her advantage.
before she could, I jumped out of the closet, running past her, and she ended up stabbing nothing but air, and cursed loudly. I found the stairs once more, but noticed how far behind me she was, and decided to take my chances with the elevator. I sprinted there, faster then I had ever sprinted before. I hit the elevator button, but I was to late. The door was still closed, and she was cornering in on me. There was only one hallway behind me, and I decided to play evenly. Thank god for the karate and dance classes Eomma used to make me take.. At the last second, when she was just reaching me beside the elevator, I ran down the dead end hallway. Right corner. She laughed at what seemed to be the stupidest decision I had ever made. She continued charging for me, knife outstretched, as she cornered me. I made sure to stay a couple feet away from the wall. When she was feet away from me, and running to fast to stop, I turned to face the wall.
I breathed in deeply, before taking a few running steps, and running off the side of the wall, then jumping and flipping off over her head, but hitting my arm in the process. I had seen it so many times I'm the movies, I figured it would have worked. Pain not included. I gritted my teeth, but I continued running as soon as my feet hit the ground, and allowed myself to smile a bit at the sound of her body hitting the wall at full force. I ran back out from the hall, and towards the elevator, which was now open, and ran towards it faster, after it started closing. Mei Zhen was still on the floor, but was picking herself up off the floor. When I entered the door, she was running at me at full speed. The doors were a foot away from closing, and I watched in horror as she stuck her arm through the door.
Wrong place. Wrong time.
The doors closed on her arm. And I couldn't tell who's scream was louder. Hers, from the pain of loosing her arm; or mine, from seeing a bloody arm that was detached from its owner, sitting inches from my feet.
I'm sorry
