Gary covered his wound by a leaf that is blown by the wind in front of him while Miles stared at him and waited for him to call her name in case he needed some help. It is really noticeable that they care for each other by just looking at them—they are really worried about each other and they can't accept if something bad happened to the both of them. They have similar thoughts that as long as they're together, their companionship is strong and safe.
"Do you remember when we both had a thought that we're in a game world?" Miles asked.
"Yeah," Gary replied, "Why did you ask about that?"
"It's because I am really thinking about that right now," Miles laughed.
"Really?" Gary asked, "Then what game have we entered into?"
"I think we're in a platform game," Miles replied, "You know, like Mega Plumber Siblings, but instead of those two, we are the characters."
Meanwhile, in the world that they came from. Three boys are playing what Miles is thinking about. The two among them played it cooperatively while one of them is just their guide. The game really looks like MPS but the characters looks like Miles and Gary but super-deformed and pixelated. The music is different as well-it would really remind you of a cheerful Swedish song that is known by the world but in 8-bit.
"In my honest opinion," a boy suggested, "This game is great in terms of platforming, layout, and the music was very catchy too!"
"Yeah," the boy with a hair that reached his neck replied, "But look at Dan's character. That guy doesn't even have animation when he walk, jump, or run!"
"I should've chosen that princess in white dress, Arin," the curly haired boy mumbled.
"Well, you're too slow in choosing between the two characters, Dan" Arin laughed, "You really deserve that guy in beanie and bomber jacket."
"God dammit, Ross!" Dan exclaimed, "If only you just shut the hell up during the character selection, I should've been the cute girl in white dress!"
"Hey guys," Ross pointed out, "I guess that girl is glitching out too!"
Arin and Dan looked at the screen. They found out that the sprite of Arin's character —the one who looked quite similar to Miles is moving diagonally across the screen repeatedly while Dan's character slowly move backwards while kept on having no animation until it completely disappeared on screen as the music sped up and more upbeat making it more or less cheerful than before. Ross tried to hold back his laughter, Arin didn't display any emotions and Dan was clearly shocked about what happened.
"Oh my, God!" Dan mumbled, "Is this a horror game?"
"I dunno, Dan!" Arin shrugged.
Suddenly, all the characters disappeared on screen while the background and the platforms were still intact. The music slowly became soft which left the three confused until the girl's sprite appeared largely—covering the whole screen as the music became instantly louder and already had lyrics which made it sound like the remixed version of the song.
"AAHHH!" the three screamed in surprise.
As the music hit the chorus, the sprite started to dance cutely and cheerfully.
Meanwhile, in the world where Gary and Miles are currently in, they are still thinking about being in a game world. This time, it's Gary who will share his thoughts.
"For me," Gary stated, "I think that everything that I'm seeing right now is a virtual reality."
"Even me?" Miles asked, "But can't you smell my fragrance?"
