Gary and Miles approached the two men who stepped on the shore. The one with armor looked at Miles while the other man walked closely to Gary.

"Come with me," the man whispered to Gary's ear.

Gary looked at him confusedly but the man walked past him instantly. He has no choice but to follow him. The two are not quite far from the rest of the people.

"Listen, there is a reason why you must not continue this journey," the man spoke softly.

"What?" Gary asked, "What do you mean by that? W-We must go back to our world. We don't belong in here."

"Someone will reawaken," the man continued, "The one you are fighting, the one you should really defeat."

"C'mon, man," Gary calmly exclaimed, "Be straight to the point and tell me what you mean already!"

"I see," the man replied while looking directly at Gary's eyes, "So you are going to fulfill the destiny then."

After the man spoke he turned his back on Gary and is about to walk away. Before he could get much farther away, Gary called him.

"Hold on," Gary stopped him, "Can you tell me who the hell you are?"

"Very well," the man glanced at him, "I am the guy who can see the future with y right eye while I can see the past with my left."

"Is this really how you answer to people?" Gary sarcastically asked.

Before he could get an answer, Gary heard an uproar from the crowd. He looked back at the man who he was talking to earlier but he's already gone. Instead of wondering where he went, he ran to the murmuring crowd to see what's going on. Once Gary arrived, Marina ran towards him.

"This is absurd," Marina cried, "You should stop them, Gary!"

Gary was confused on what's happening so he looked where the townspeople are looking at. Once he saw it, he was surprised and disbelieved what he saw.

"Miles?" he mumbled.

He saw Miles and the man wearing an armor facing each other, this time the man's helm is removed from his head revealing a long, blonde haired man who has brown eyes, and a very masculine facial structure.

"Beautiful fighters must fight to determine who shall be tarnished," the man proudly said, "That's why I, Adam is challenging you to a duel."

"You really think I'm beautiful?" Miles replied, "Well, let me tell you that this beauty will win against you."

"I, Adam, admire your courage, beautiful lady," Adam mocked, "But, I will let you, handsome fighters never lose battles."

And so, the duel between Miles and Adam started. Miles attacked Adam which he dodged instantly causing her to fall on the ground. When Miles tried to stand up, Adam attacked her with his morning star which wrapped around her neck. As Miles scream in agony, Gary tried to approach her but she glanced at him as if she is saying that she's fine. Adam pulled his weapon along with Miles who's now crying in pain.

"Do you wanna throw this match out?" Adam asked boisterously

"No," Miles mumbled, "I won't... give up!"

The morning star continuously tighten around her neck, she tried standing up but she failed in every attempts which made her look like a flailing fish.

"Dammit," Gary panicked, "He's killing her!"

The crowd continued cheering for Adam. Meanwhile, Miles was still on the ground while barely breathing. She closed her eyes and the things she saw are Gary and the world that is waiting for her. Miles slowly opened her eyes and saw a tiny bit of hope. Adam's armor is short enough to cover underneath his torso and between his legs. She tried standing up and as she reached her sitting position, Miles elbowed Adam's crotch which caused him to fell on his knees and untighten the morning star around her neck. Miles took this opportunity to free herself from the weapon and as she stood up, she smacked Adam down with both of her hands that are clutched to each other which knocked him out almost instantly. The crowd became silent and Miles looked at Gary and Marina who both have worried but relieved look on their faces. She smiled and felt dizzy but before she falls to the ground, Gary ran towards her and reached her.

"I did it," Miles whispered.

"You certainly did," Gary laughed.

Gary carried Miles to Doc Kyure's clinic. Marina watched the two walk and soon Charlotte approached her to have a conversation.

"All that we can give them is our support," Charlotte said.

"Do you think they can make it?" Marina asked.

"They can," Charlotte responded, "It will take time so better check how long your patience is."

"They will eliminate the corruption of our world before it takes over us," Marina smiled.

"Are they?" Charlotte asked, "This book is almost over, but the climax is still about to happen."

"I don't know what you're talking about anymore," Marina sighed, "Didn't you say that we should support them?"

"That's all we can do," Charlotte shrugged.

Marina shook her head and followed Gary and Miles to the clinic, meanwhile Charlotte went back to her library and stared at the ceiling.

A/N: This is a rather short chapter, isn't it? Well, I'm slowly returning back to Wattpad and I'll eventually make new chapters. Be sure to get updated!
