"I can't believe I can call you my queen" he smiled.
He grabbed my arms and threw me on the bed. "You're all mine" he said. He got on top of me and wanted to kiss me but I turned my head. "Yah! We're married" he grabbed my face and kissed me. My eyes didn't look at his. He let go off me and got off me. He looked angry. He turned around and went to sleep. That night I had a hard time falling asleep. I kept thinking about Huang and what I had done.
I woke up because of the sun shining in my eyes. I turned around and saw that the emperor is gone. Soon a lot of maids rushed into my room. They had a dress and wanted to dress me. The dress was beautiful and fitted for a queen.

After they finished dressing me up I walked to the dungeon to free Huang. I stepped in and the guards bowed "Your majesty, what brings you here?". "Where is Yu Huang?" I asked. They lead the way to where he was. My eyes widened and became teary when I saw him. His hands were entangled with metal chains and his legs were burned. "Huang!" I raised my voice. He tried to stand up but his legs hurt too much. "Let him go immediately" I ordered. "Your majesty, the emperor ordered us to not release him" they bowed. "But I order to release him" I angrily ordered them again.
The guards looked at each other and finally unlocked the metal cage. I ran in and helped Huang up. My guards also helped him. We walked to my room. I laid him down on the bed and got him a wet towel. I dabbed his face with it. He was all bloody. I asked the maids to change him into some cleaner clothes.
It was late at night when he woke up. I was sitting at my desk nearly falling asleep but I heard him speak. "Jingfei?" He softly said. "Huang! You're awake, how are you feeling?" I asked. "Better" he replied with a weak smile. "I- I-" I didn't know how to explain to him about the emperor. He looked at me with a concerned face. "I- I married the emperor to save you" I sighed. His eyes widened and a tear rolled down my cheek. He took my hand and said "Jingfei, why? I would've gotten out of there myself, you didn't have to" he held my hand tightly. "I was scared something would happen to you" another tear rolled down my cheek. He pulled me into bed and we both fell asleep in each other's arms.
I woke up first and went to the kitchen to make porridge for Huang. "Your majesty, what brings you here" the maids bowed. "Don't worry about me continue to work" I replied. I walked to one of the fires and took some oats from a jar and poured them into a bowl over the fire. I made it quite quickly and rushed back to my room to feed Huang.
I entered my room and saw Huang trying to stand up. "Huang lay back down your legs aren't healed yet, I will call the royal doctor to look at them" I said placing the bowl on the table. I walked over to Huang and helped him lay back down. I brought the bowl over and started feeding him. "Jingfei, I'm not a baby" he giggled. "I know, but I like feeding you" I giggled back. "This is very tasty" he added. "I made it" I smiled. "Wow, you're a great cook, I have never ate anything you made yet" he ate more. "I'll make more food for you then" I kept smiling at him.
"His majesty is here to talk to you" one of the maids called out. I quickly pulled the curtains around my bed to cover Huang. "He can come in" I called back. The emperor entered my room and I bowed "what brings you here, your majesty". "I wanted to talk to you about somethings" he sat down at my table. I sat down beside him "yes continue your majesty, I'm listening". "Would you like to visit your grandparents?" He asked. My eyes widened. "I can visit them?" I asked. "Yes, why not, at the moment there is nothing important going on in the palace why don't we visit them and announce the news" he explained. "Yes, yes I would love to" I jumped out of my seat with a big smile on my face. "Okay then I will plan a date and tell you" he added. "Yes, thank you your majesty" I bowed. "Also where is Huang" he questioned. "He- he- he is healing in one of the maids rooms" I made up an answer. "Oh okay, when do you think he will work again?" he asked. "I'm not sure, maybe in 2 weeks, he should feel better around that time" I replied. After that he left.
I quickly opened the curtains. "Huang did you hear that!!!! I'm going to meet my grandparents!!" I clapped my hands. "Yes!" he giggled. "Heal quicker so I can take you with me" I smiled. Huang sat up and pulled me into a hug. "I love you Jingfei" he whispered. "I love you too" I replied.
2 weeks later
Today was the day I got to see my grandparents. I put on my most beautiful dress that I had and stepped outside to wait for the emperor. Huang was by my side. He was now my guard and his legs have healed.
"Jingfei" the emperor called out. I bowed and answered "yes, your majesty". "I'm afraid I won't be going with you" he frowned. "Somethings came up in the palace but don't worry there are guards to protect you" he said. I nodded and soon the litter arrived. I crawled in and sat down. I felt when the guards picked it up and started to carry it.
I slid the window open and saw Huang walking beside me. "Psssssst" I hissed at him. He turned to me with a confused face. "How long until we arrive" I said with a smile on my face. "Soon" he replied with the same smile. I was very excited and I couldn't wait to see them.
