It's a cold night in the zoo. I wasn't expecting any beds, but this place... this is horrible. Rats prowl the floors of the zoo, sometimes I feel them running over my feet. But I know that nauseating rats aren't my biggest problem. Back in district five, I would usually get sick , from something in my lungs. I was never diagnosed with a disease, but whenever I went ill out of nowhere, it was my lungs. I breath in and out slowly, but every time I do it, I feel a weight and pain in my lungs. My lungs feel like they are closing in on themselves, like something is infesting it. I wheeze as I try to breath once more, and a cough follows it. I think it's the night before we have to be sent into the arena, and I'm worst than ever. How will I ever fight when I can't even breath properly?

Then the pain in my lungs grow worse than ever. Usually they're mild attacks, but this felt like a deadly assault. My lungs feel like they're completely closed out, not letting any oxygen go inside. I attempt to breath again, but it wasn't working, it just feels worse whenever I do it, like my lungs are completely on fire. I wince in pain as hot tears stream down my cold face. My coughs grow worse and repetitive. Then finally, the pain all ends in a painful ending. My body goes limp on this cold night inside the cages of the zoo.
