This guy is clearly very new, Jaehwa thought as she looked around the messy office. Johnny, the new detective was clearing the folders on his desk, making space for her.

Johnny was tall and well-proportioned. He wore a beige trenchcoat over his dress shirt, black pants, and leather shoes. His brown hair was parted, revealing his forehead. Overall, Jaehwa thought he was a decent looking male.

Once the chair was empty he motioned to it.

"Take a seat." Johnny said, waving towards the chair. Jaehwa nodded her head, taking a seat as Johnny laced his fingers, placing them on the desk.

"So, tell me why you're here." Johnny said as he turned on his computer.

"Last night, you arrested my brother, Jeong Jaehyun. You have the wrong guy." Jaehwa told him. Johnny help up a hand.

"Sorry, let's take a step back first. I introduced myself, but I didn't get your name." Johnny said. Jaehwa rolled her eyes.

"Jaehwa, Jeong Jaehwa." Jaehwa told him. Johnny nodded his head, typing it into his computer.

"She's a Viper too." The small boy with glasses muttered from his desk, earning a glare from Jaehwa.

"You keep saying Viper, Mark what do you mean by that?" Johnny asked them.

"They're a gang." The boy, Mark, said from the corner.

"We own a car wash." Jaehwa corrected.

"That's a cover." Mark mumbled. Jaehwa ignored him.

"So your brother, Jaehyun-"

"The leader of the Vipers." Mark interrupted and this time, both Jaehwa and Johnny gave him a look.

"Sorry." Mark said, sinking back into his seat. Johnny turned back to face her.

"So you think Jaehyun was wrongly accused? Accused of what?" Johnny asked her.

"The police said he murdered someone but that's not true. Jaehyun would never do something like that." Jaehwa told him. Johnny nodded his head.

"Mark, can you get me the folder with Jaehyun's case." Johnny asked. Mark widened his eyes.

"Folder? With Jaehyun's case?" Mark exclaimed, looking around the room.

"Yeah, is there a problem?" Johnny asked. Mark bit his lip.

"Um, that might take a while." Mark said glancing at the messy room.

"Perfect." Johnny said, getting up. Jaehwa stared at him.

"Where are you going?" Jaehwa asked as his made his way to the door.

"I'm going to get some coffee." Johnny said putting his hand on the handle before turning to face her. "Do you want to come?"

"To get coffee?" Jaehwa said, raising an eyebrow just as her stomach growled. Dammit, I shouldn't have skipped breakfast.

Johnny let out a soft chuckle. "We can get some food too."

Jaehwa stood up, shoving her hands in her pockets as she walked passed him, embarassed.

"Let's make this quick."

...

Apparently Johnny had no intentions of "making it quick" as he settled at a table inside the small café, located just beside the police station. It didn't seem to have much buisness aside from the policemen, who all gave Jaehwa weird looks as she followed Johnny inside.
