Tori's P.O.V So today is a Tuesday, every Tuesday I take groceries to Jade since her family is never home. I buy her only the nessecites for a week. Maybe a few days so I have an excuse to see her over the weekend. So I put the food into my car and head on over to her house. I get to her house after jammin out to some of Andres' new songs and I notice Becks car in ger driveway, the door to Jades house wide open. I slowly pull up to her house and get out closing my door cautiously. So I dont alarm Beck, I walk inside and the whole downstairs area is trashed, blood everywhere. I start panicing, and move faster through her house. I walk into the kitchen and see blood everywhere and a knife missing. I start to hypervenalate and grab a pair of scissors cuz we all know how much she loves them. I walk upstairs and hear grunting. I move slower and peek into an open room to see Beck on top of Jade choking her. Jade is struggling really hard trying to get away from him, punching him, her flailing around like a bat outta hell but he wont budge. His grip just gets tighter.
------FLASHBACK------
I walk into the highschool to see Beck and Jade in the hallway talking. Beck doing his usual lean against the locker. I walk up to both of them "Hey guys" I say and Beck glares at me. "Hey" Jade says smiling. "So about that talent show we have later tonight are yall gonna go?" Beck moves behind Jade and puts his hand on her shoulder. "Nah we are gonna go hang out at my place. Aint that right Jade." He says behind his clenched jaw. I can tell hes tightening his grip on Jades shoulder because his finger tips and knuckles are turning white. "Y..yea.." Jade says and holds to fingers out letting me know she needs help. We have this code whenever we need help and need to alert one another, she does the finger thing and i bend a knee like im trying to re adjust while also scratching my ear. I grab Jades hand and yank her away from Beck. "Comeon Jade lets go grab some lunch off Campus." She nods and I glare at Beck. We both walk away, as soon as I know Beck isnt looking I pull Jade into a corner and ask her "Why dont you go to a staff member. Beck can go to jail, youd be free." " He said if I leave hell kill himself, if I told anyone hed kill me. Plus I have a cop friend his nane is Tobi. Were working on it, please Tori. Dont worry about me I promise." "Well youre going to that talent show tonight and youre gonna stay with me for a while okay. Im not gonna let him touch you okay?" She smiles and nods, we hug and I squeeze her tightly. She isnt gonna get hurt not on my watch.
---BACK TO PRESENT TIME---
I see him squeezing her so tight her eyes are turning red, her skin turning bright blue. Shes been holding up her two fingers but im frozen in fear. I let her down.. and because of me shes going to die. She looks at me and has a tear rolling down her face. No. Im not gonna let her die. I yell and charge at Beck stabbing him in the neck. I get on top of him and start punching him in the face. Jade coughs and takes a deep breath. I continue on punching him until his nose breaks and hes bleeding badly. I remove the scissors and blood comes pouring out like its a straw in a drink. I crawl over to Jade I grab her face while breathing heavy. "Baby... breath.. its okay. I got you" She grabs my hand and starts to breath lighter but still trying to catch her breath. "Im so sorry.... I tried my best..." She smiles at me a little bit. Next thing I know Beck was crawling towards me and stabs me in the leg. I scream and kick him in the throat. He falls over and this tall man who is buff as hell come barging in and kicks Beck in the chest. He then gets on top of him and smashes his head into the floor. "I NEED BACKUP" He yells into his shoulder. "Officer Ryan we are sending officers your way now" He cuffs Beck and keeps him on the other side of the room. He walks toward us once a few more people run in and jump on top of Beck. "Jade are you okay?" "Yeah... thanks to Tori.." " Who are you?" I ask. "Officer Ryan, Tobi Ryan."
