Fai has written an other song for an artist who isn't under BigHit. This time the song was for NCT Dream's newly released album We Boom. As known to the public, Fai and 4 members of NCT Dream, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan & Jaemin are best friends which is the title of the song.
During NCT Dream's comeback V-live, a comment asked about how the song came along so the group decided to call Fai and talk to her about the song.
Fai said, "Jaemin, Jeno and I started the song in early May I think? We wrote the verses together, then the two of them sent to the company. They got the instrumental, they fixed it and then Le'mon came on and wrote both the hook and the chorus."
"We wrote a good song, it embodies our friendship really well," Jeno said, "You agree, right?"
"Umm...sure."
The phone call and the song as well is extremely playful, and as Jeno said it embodies their friendship really well.
Fans are delighted to see the group publicly being friends and furthermore writing a song about their friendship. We hope this is a step towards a more friendly world where mixed-gendered friend groups are not looked down upon.
