I felt like I was underwater, maybe it was the obvious feeling of not being able to breathe or the fact that I couldn't grasp anything in front of me as my legs kicked. My lungs burned along with my chest as I tried sucking in air pathetically as I try to swim to the surface.

The water felt too heavy, too dense. Like it was purposely pulling me down and keeping me from the surface.

Desperate, I continue to fight, no matter how heavy it felt or how far down I probably already am. The burning sensation that started in my lungs and chest started to move downwards, spreading to my stomach and every inch of my body that I could feel it.

The sensation that I felt throughout my body making me lose the strength as my arms start to slowly lose its feeling. Then, deeper I went into the water as the pain felt even heavier on my chest. I cried out the best I can underneath the water, bubbles erupting in front of me as my mouth opens and sucks in water.

I could feel the water entering my lungs, like it was filled with nothing else but water.

My vision started to blur as I blink my eyes, black dots filling in my vision as I could start to feel like I'm losing consciousness. I blink once, trying to stop myself from passing out, but no matter how hard my body tries to remain consciousness it can't.

I blink once more before seeing red.

Then taking a large breath before I snapped, flinching as I gasped. My chest feeling lighter than I thought it did as I stared down at my desk.

My head resting on my arm as I continued to comprehend what had happened. I felt a hand on my shoulder as I flinched, sitting up. The lights in the classroom making me wince and rub my eyes. I could feel the cold sweat that lingered on my back as my hands felt clammy. Looking to my left, my seatmate looked shocked at my reaction.

Embarrassed, my cheeks burned as I tried to think of an excuse. I rubbed my neck as my eyes flickered towards the teacher who had no idea that I was asleep as he continued typing on his laptop, ever so often glancing at the students before continuing whatever was more important than teaching that was on his laptop.

I was lucky enough to sit at the corner where it wouldn't be that obvious if I ever slept in class, I couldn't say this was the first time.

"Sorry, I just thought that you wouldn't want to get caught my Mr. Radley." He said wincing as he glanced at our teacher.

I nodded and wrung my hands together, looking away at him. "Yeah, yeah, thanks ah-" I stopped when I tried to think of his name. I had never had a conversation with him and suddenly a sense of panic overcame me as I wracked my brain for his name, trying to remember what our teacher called him during attendance.

"June,"

"Huh?"

"June, my name is June. " He said nodding, his hair falling to cover his eyes before he pushed it back and continued facing at front. Closing my mouth, I nodded to myself and decided to face the teacher as he finally stood up from his desk to hand out homework.

Walking past my desk he placed two sheets that I passed one to June, glancing over it briefly before I put it in my bag. "Make sure to do the first chapter of the homework by Friday so that I can see your progress-"

"Hey," someone kicked my chair.

Annoyed, I looked back at Lucas who grinned. "Didn't get a good night's rest, did you?"

Ignoring him I continued pretending to listen to Mr. Radley as he continued explaining the guidelines for the homework but I was pretty much out of it as I tried to remember what had happened in my dream.
