Chapter 14- Diplomacy

Helix In! I'm Back! Now, in this chapter, this will take place where we left off. The diplomatic meeting between the Daemons and the Vampyr regarding their situation. But now, let's get on with it!

(3rd POV)

As the Vampyr and Daemons faced one another, uneasy tension between them as they faced one another.

"Welcome, to the Endurance outpost. I am Commander Mavro Sídero and this here is the Crown Prince, Liam Porango" Sídero said to them, being hospitable first. 

"Thank you, Commander." The Diplomat said as the both of them turned to the Crown Prince.

"Your Presence here, honors us, My Lord." A female Diplomat said as she bowed before Liam as he looked at her with curiosity.

He nodded quickly, covering his hesitation. 

"An interesting day it is. Two of the Great Ones' Kin." Liam said to them as they nodded in agreement to him.  

"Now, I do believe we should discuss this inside, shall we? The Sun isn't kind to some of us here." A Male Diplomat suggested as Sídero nodded and they proceeded to walk towards the facility.

Sídero opened the door and went through a hallway, passing by other Daemons and some Demons along the way, both former and latter giving bows in respect to the Crown Prince as he nodded back to them, but did give glances to the Vampyr representatives.

They eventually made their way to an office room decorated with some Daemon tech as the Sídero sat on one side while the diplomats sat on the other side. 

"My Prince, do you wish to join this meeting? It might be boring for you." Sídero asked Liam as he poked on his pride as Liam scoffed. 

"Of course I will, it's not gonna be that boring." Liam said as just stood behind Sídero, None said a word for a while. 

"Okay, I'm now tired of standing, can we get some extra chairs for us!?" Liam asked, now feeling tired, demanded extra chairs in the room as Sídero nodded, unwilling to disobey the Prince. 

"Can we get some extra chairs her in my office?" Sídero asked through the built intercom. 

After a minute or so, Some Daemons came into the room, carrying portable chairs, while a bit wider for Vampyr, should be enough for to sit on as they did and Liam took a chair, giving a nod in thanks as he sat down, satisfied.

"Now, let us begin." Sídero said as he had a serious face on. 

"Ok, first off. What are your kin's intentions with this system." The male Diplomat asked the first question.

"Well, our intentions are simple. we're stuck out here, in Uncharted space. In other words, we're stuck here for the time being." Sídero bluntly said, stating thier situation as the Diplomats and the soldiers nodded. 

"Now, if you'll pardon me, Commander. But someone from us wants to speak with you." Jensen said as he stood up and pulled out the communicator device he brought.

"By all means." Sídero replied as Jensen stepped forward and placed the device on the desk as he activated it, displaying a holographic display of Von Krieg. 

"Greetings, Daemon. I am General Von Krieg of the 1st Expeditionary Armada. Now I'll be joining this meeting through this device." Von Krieg said as he introduced himself. 

"A pleasure General. I'm Mavro Sídero, Commander and current master of my men. This is Crown Prince Liam Porango." Sídero introduced himself to the General, alongside the Crown Prince
