"It's 4am. You're sleeping. I'm crying"

How could he do this to me? He broke up with me because of the distance. I thought it was all worked out, I thought every thing was going well.

It didn't bother me he was always way. It really didn't. If it didn't worry me, it shouldn't have worried him. He had to ruin our relationship because of distance.

I heard a knock on the car window. I looked over to the passenger seat, and it was my mom. I unlocked the car, and she got inside.

"Why are you in here?" she asked me.

"Because I'm depressed and hurt." I cried.

"Baby, please don't cry." she says and rubs my back.

"Yes, cry. He broke up with me, because of distance. It was working out just fine. I thought it was going good, I was perfectly fine with him doing something he loves," I told her through sobs.

"But you're not seeing this in his perspective. It must've been so hard for him, he's everywhere and missing you. He probably couldn't handle it because he missed you all the time. He may have just broke up with you because he probably thought that you two will grow distant. Just remember, stop thinking what you're thinking is the right answer. You need to try to see it in other people's perspective to see if you're truly right."

Holy shit, that was deep.

"You get what I'm saying?" she questioned.

I nodded my head, and hugged her.

"Thank you mom." I thanked her.

"Anything for my baby. Now come inside and get some sleep." she tells me.

"Okay I'll go in a minute." I replied.

She nodded and got out the door. She went back inside the house, and I got a cigarette out and a lighter. I lit up my cigarette, and took a long drag. I blew out the smoke, which caused a small cough afterwards.

I started the car and rolled down the windows. I rested my hand out the car, and got my phone out. I took a picture of my cigarette and the rear view mirror on Snapchat. I captioned it,

It's 4am. You're sleeping. I'm crying

But, I wonder if you're actually sleeping. What if you're thinking of me?
