Chapter 22

I jump off the bed, picking up my clothes. I struggled putting them on because I was worried at the moment. His mom walked in and saw me shirtless and my pants halfway of my legs while Louis covered himself under the comforter. His mom looked at me angrily and raised her voice loud enough to echo through the whole house, "What the fuck do you think you're about to do to my son! My son's a pure soul and you are just a dumbfuck bitch! Get the fuck out of my house! RIGHT NOW!" I flinched at her cussed phrases and grabbed my shirt and pulled my pants up my waist and storm out until his father stopped me near the door.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going kid?" He said aggressively and grabbed my shirt off my hand and pushed me out of the door while I was still shirtless. "Go ahead and shiver yourself!" I flinched while hugging myself as I feel the cold. I run down the street as fast as possible because I don't wanna freeze myself in this cold. I reach home and my mom angrily stares at me dead in the eye.

"Louis' mom called me and told me what you just did! You're such a disappointment to this family! You deserve to stay locked in your room for the rest of your life! I thought you were a pure soul and now, you just did a sin!" She says, tears brimming her eyes. She grabs my hand and drags me across the room, seeing my sister in shock.

She puts me in my room while I sit up on the floor, completely terrified. "You'll be staying here until you don't graduate from college!" She says, slamming the door and locking it up. I crash against the door, tears streaming on my cheeks.

My head flooded with thoughts, "Why does my mom hate Pride?", "Why does she think it's a sin?", "I am a normal kid". My thoughts got distracted when I heard someone banging near the window. I got up shivering myself and saw my mom nailing boards on the window. I gasp at the sight and step back to grab a sweater from my wardrobe.

She comes up to my room again and unlocks it, snatching my phone off the table and deleting all of my friends number. I looked at her terribly confused and asked, "What are you doing?" She said in a monotone voice, "I've blocked the windows so you don't escape and can't plead for help. And also, I'm deleting your contacts so you don't get a chance to call anyone." She takes a moment and said, "You can only leave your room for breakfast, lunch and dinner and nothing else." walking out of the room with my phone and locking the door. I stood there completely frozen from what I had just witnessed.

I was still shaking from the thought that the consequences will be this harsh. She didn't beat me or something, but locked me up as if I'm a wild animal. It's like living in a prison with a bathroom facility and you're only allowed to go out to have your food. I sat in one corner bringing my knees up to my chest and tucking them with my arms. I won't be able to see the light again...
