Chapter 9

Fareedah's POV

I was sleeping in my room when I heard someone banging the door,I stood up knowing they are here to wish me a happy birthday. opening the door it was Asmy.

" Morning ya Mimi, Ammiey said you should come down for breakfast"with that she rushed downstairs.
Thats weird, I sauntered to the bathroom did my morning business,taking a shower I came out & wore a Grey sweatpant with a black hoodie,packing my hair into a high ponytail, I amble downstairs like a kid high on sugar, I met everyone all seated to have breakfast.

" Morning Everyone"
"Morning princess" Abba said

Sitting down I look at all the delicacies on the table,wow all these for me I thought,because i can't eat everything I settled for cinnamon roll pancakes and hot chocolate, till we finish eating no one says anything about my birthday.
Frustrated I ask "did you all forgot what today is"

"What's so special about today" ya Anas ask

"Come on Anas,today is Friday and its jummuat so its special" Abba said

"What you guys did not know today's date or what" I ask

"We all know but what is happening today" Asmy ask
"Nothing" I said clearly annoyed

Scrutinizing their faces to see if they are planning anything, but its normal.they continue gisting as if am invisible,frustrated I went to my room.

I quickly enter the bathroom, I was in for pampering after all today is all about me, I prepare a bubble bath by adding strawberry, vanilla and citrus shower gel, I also add some milk and rose petals, I sat in the tub for like 40 minute, shampooed my hair with a lavender shampoo and rinsed out, wearing a robe and putting my hair in a towel, I stepped out of the bathroom and seat in front of the vanity table, applied some lotion and hair product on my hair, I love pampering my hair its long, black & silky and also voluminous then blow blow dry it.

Moving to the closet , now what to wear, I choose a pallazo but then change my mind picking up a beautiful peplum dress I got dressed, I did a simple make up, taking my lab coat and necessities, going to Ammieys room I bid her bye.

Seriously this is the first time ever, they did not remember my birthday, all my 24 years of life they are always the first to wish me, even ya zee and ya Abba ,my married siblings did not call.

Opening the door to my office, I was surprise by the sight before me, flowers wow, walking closer to where the flowers are kept,they are all my favorite,its different type, the way they are decorated is beautiful, mashaallah.

Walking closer to the flower,the first one is a liliac, I took the card in it and sniffed it, opening the cards it read.
"Roses are red, shamrocks are green,you've got the sweettest smile I've ever seen.
I remember the first time we met & how much I wanted to know you more, accept these flowers as a token of my affection for you"
"Ya Allah who is this person" I whispered

The second flower is orchid, I run my hand gently on the flowers and took the card, it reads.
"Beautiful and precious like these orchids,these vibrant and unique flower makes me think of you and your amazing personality, may the best of these world be brought to you''

I was spellbound, then took the 3 which is diasies "there are more than a billion things I want to say to you but I don't know how,;all I have to say now is be happy.

I was wondering how these person knows all my favorite flowers, the last one is tulip, my all time favorite. taking it I sniff it and it was so mashaallah, and this card is different from others, I took the card and open it.
