Maxxines P.O.V

 

  "Hija.. wake up. Time for school Maxxi." I feel my mom and dad shaking me. I wake up and raise a brow looking at how cute they are.. and how happy.. and glowing.. and barley any clothes on.. what the he.. ew.

  I nod my head "Buenos dias. Adios." The smirks and my dad chases my mom out. Oh.. um... okay. I get up and go take a shower and start my day. I put on a pair of my black leggings, a peach long sleeve shirt, a grey scarf, and brown lace ups. I put on my eye liner and eye shadow. A bright red lipstick and I wear my hair in a nice natural braid out with a headband.

  I go downstairs to eat breakfast and check my phone. My dad puts 4 pancakes on my plate, bacon, and cheese eggs. I have one missed call from Daniel and a text from him.

Good morning beautiful. I'll see you at school. Missed sleeping with you last night but dad needed me for business. I didn't get home until 4 am so I might be hella tired and a little grumpy. Do you think you can bring me my favorite Starbucks since you're close by? That'd be great. Well  I'll see you at school baby girl. Love you to heaven and back. ❤

  I text him back while stuffing my face.

  That sucks love. But I'll be sure to not annoy you today lol. But yeah I'll get you your favorite. See you at school. Love you to the next galaxy and back (I win) ❤

  I grab my bag, keys, and MK wallet. I kiss my parents on the cheek and head out to my sleek black car.. Sex on wheels.. I open the door, start him up, and drive off. I stop by Starbucks ordering 2 java chip frapps.

  The guy hands me the stuff and.. his number. I giggle to myself and we oddly get into a conversation since no one is behind me, "Hi I'm Joel Lucas." He extends his hand and I shake it, "Hey, I'm Maxxine." He smiles, "Beautiful name for a beautiful lady." He looks at my ring finger and I see his expression drop just a little, "Beautiful ring.. Married?"

  "Oh no not yet.. um it's more of a promise/engagement ring." He nods his head and smiles.. such of a sad smile. He's green eyes and black hair looks so beautiful together. But never as beautiful as Daniels electric blue eyes and jet black hair. "I wish you the best of luck Maxxine. Oh and use my number. I would love to get to know you." I smile, "Sure thing..matter of fact here's my number.." I write it down for him. "There text me whenever." I smile and drive off.

  I pull up to school and see Daniel talking to the guys and Lizzy. I gave him his coffee and he kissed my temple. My phone buzzes and I have a new text..

***-***-****: Hey Maxine. It's Joel (:

I smile and save his number

To Joelll: Hey.. it's 2x's.. it's MaXXine. Just to emphasize. Lol

From Joelll: Ahh.. very different. My bad haha so hello MaXXine lol.

  I laugh and Daniel smirks, "What's so funny babe?" I smile,  "Nothing, the worker at Starbucks and I are chatting and he spelled my name wrong."

  His face went blank, "Oh.. ha." I give him a look,  "Okay ass." I try to walk away but he grabs me and pulls me into a hug,  "Sorry baby. I'm jealous I won't lie." I raise my ring hand, "There's no need to be babe." He nods his head.

  I feel something lightly get thrown in my head and I scratch. I look at the object a pebble.. "A pebble.."

  "Yeah bitch it's foreshadowing the bolder I'm about to throw at your ass!" Instantly Debra grabs my hair. And it's over. I throw my hot coffee at her and punch her chin. She punches me in the gut and I swear I can't breathe. She steps on my throat and I hold up her foot.. struggling.. "Maxxine.. I will make sure I watch you breathe your last breath bitch. You just love to ruin my life. Well bitch watch the fuck out. With me and Shepherd working together.. and another helper.. we can't be stopped. Just mark my words you whore. Mark 'em."

  She moves and walks away flipping her hair, "You're pathetic Maxxine. Good luck with the short life you have." I stay on the ground looking around for Daniel and I see him literally chasing down Shep. "DANNY! I CAN'T GET UP.. I NEED HELP." His eyes are dark and sad he runs over to me and holds me.

  "Maxxine. Why the hell did you start this babe? God.. I don't want anyone to ever hurt you and that threat seems promising.. but I swear with my life.. they would have to kill me to ever get to you."

  "And you don't think we will?" A deep chuckle scares me.. I haven't heard in a while. "Lance?" He smirks and hands me my bag.. "Have a great day baby."

  He walks away and I feel the tears shed. No.. this is my fault.. damn.. fuck.. they'll hurt my family.. my friends.. Daniel.. no..

  Daniel picks me up and places me in my car, "Drive home.. we're telling your dad. Call me if you need me but I need to go take care of some business."

  I try to object, "No! I'm not leaving your side. Nu uh.. that's how bad things happen babe and I can't lose you." He grabs my wrist, "No.. I can't lose you.. now you go and tell your dad.. I'll see you in a little while.. I promise. Now stop crying and kiss me."

  We kiss as he wipes my tears, "I promise princess.. I promise I'll see you a little later.. just let me take care of sumn'." I nod and he shuts my door. He watches me drive off.. I've never felt my boyfriend so unsure of his promise until today.

PLEASE READ!!! I BEG OF YOU lol.

  Short.. I know but I got you guys! I got something cooking in the kitchen guys.. no literally I have cookies in the kitchen but I am making a new book... but I have so many ideas and plots for it but I do know for sure it won't be in high school. If anything the young black girl is going to a college that usually white people get into easier than blacks.. probably Harvard or something.. and she's trying to become a lawyer but it's deeper than that. Yesssss it's an interracial romance lol but its going to actually be deeper than this and more realistic problems then the mom being a prostitute.  IT WILL BE AN AFRICAN AMERICAN. Not Hispanic and black.. just strait up black because that's what I am :D and I need to write one. So with my next chapter I might post a preview of it..
