"Good morning everyone, my name is Demi Lovato and today you're going to watch me get ready. I actually take a really long time to do like skincare and makeup, and it's not because I do a whole lot, it's just because I get distracted very easily but I am going to try to do this as quickly as possible today," Demi explained before grabbing her headband that she used to keep her hair out of the way while she was doing her makeup.
Scooter had not only booked her a Vogue cover, but they were also filming several videos with her including a get ready with me and 24 hours with her. She didn't think that anything she did was that interesting to warrant a film crew around her for 24 hours, but she knew it was part of promo for the album so she didn't complain.
"I was going to do this in my glam room but we're actually inside of my bathroom, which I share with my boyfriend. It looks like it's just mine though because I have stuff all over the place, but I also use like a million more products than he does so that might be why," Demi said as she grabbed her moisturizer off of the counter.
Their bathroom was a mix of marble and neutral tones with a double sink and a vanity off to the side. It had a separate bath tub and shower, but Demi was planning to have those redone as well.
"When did you get into skincare?" One of the producers asked as Demi rubbed the cream all over her face.
"I don't think I really got into skincare until I started making money because that's when I could afford like a dermatologist and have Renee Rouleau come to my house to give me facials, and go to expensive spas. So, although I've never really had issues with my skin, like acne or anything, when people ask me about skincare I do try to acknowledge like, hey, I spend like thousands of dollars to keep my skin looking good so I'm not going to lie and say that I don't get all of these expensive treatments done," Demi answered. Batman, Cinderella, and their new dog Robin started loudly barking, so Demi knew that Jesse was home.
"Does he always get that reaction from the dogs?"
"Yeah, unless I'm gone for like multiple days in a row, I don't get that reaction at all. And two of them are my dogs," Demi chuckled as she grabbed her foundation off of the counter.
"Hey everybody," Jesse greeted as he entered the bathroom.
Demi turned to look at him and once she saw the look on his face, she knew that he was upset about something. He was smiling, but not with his teeth, and his smile wasn't reaching his eyes.
"What's wrong?" Demi quietly asked him as she set her foundation back down.
"Nothing, I don't want to interrupt your filming. I'm gonna go make us some food," he said, pecking her cheek before leaving the bathroom with the dogs following them.
Demi wouldn't be able to shoot while she was worrying about what was wrong with him. She knew that he was still working stuff out with Aryn and they had a meeting with their lawyers today. That's probably what he was upset about but he had been withholding details of the whole process, saying that he didn't want her anymore involved than she already was.
"Hey guys, can we take a quick break? There's catering outside."
The crew had no problem taking a food break. One of them turned off the camera before following the rest out of her bathroom. Jesse was laying in their sitting room absentmindedly stroking Robin's soft fur.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Demi asked as she plopped down next to him on the white Cloud sectional from Restoration Hardware. It had become their favorite napping spot because you could perfectly see the sun rise and set behind the hills.
