[Friday.]
'How's life with your dad and Jane?'
'Oh, you know. It's not as bad as I thought. Definitely different from life with mum.'
Perrie and her friends were looking for their seats in the cinema.
'There's no privacy at all when you live with a seven years old and they've got so many rules. I never thought my dad would be so strict to be honest. The most annoying thing is that he's so different with Caitlin from what he used to be with me and Jonnie at her age, but we haven't had any major arguments yet so that's good.'
'What about Jonnie?'
'He comes round once a week but I think it's more to see me than them. Another one of dad's rules is that I'm not really allowed at Jonnie's place because of his friends, so that's pretty much the only way for us to see each other, and although Jonnie would never admit it, I think he's worried about me staying at dad's.'
'Have you spoken to your mum?'
'She calls me every night. She said things are going pretty well and they're settling quickly. She's hoping that Richard'll manage to sort the new offices quickly so they can move back here in a year, one and a half maximum.'
'We'll keep our fingers crossed for you then.'
Whilst the girls kept chatting, Jesy was busy with her phone. 'OMG, girls! Do you remember I told you I've been seeing that boy, Darren? Well, he's here with his mates to watch the movie, do you mind if they come and say hello? He told me he saw us at the entrance.'
'Ooh are things serious then?!' The girls laughed.
Jesy replied embarrassed. 'I wouldn't say really serious, but we've been going out for a couple of weeks now and let's just say we enjoy each other company.'
'As long as you don't abandon us for him later. This is the first time we're all together in weeks!'
'Of course not, don't be silly!'
Jesy started looking at the door waiting for her friend. When he finally arrived with his friends, she waved and they walked over to the girls. Jesy stood up and introduced everyone. 'Girls, this is Darren. These are my bestest friends Leigh-Anne, Jade and Perrie.'
'Nice to meet you girls, heard a lot about you.' The boys sat in the row in front of the girls. 'These are Alfie, Harrison, Luke and Christian.' They all turned around and one of them immediately recognised Perrie.
'Ehm, I think we already met.'
Perrie knew he knew exactly who she was, especially after what Caitlin said the day before.
'Oh, did we?'
'Well, we didn't actually introduce each other, but I saw you with Caitlin last week at football training.' The boy had a genuine smile and looked pretty shy so Perrie decided to change strategy and not embarrass him any further.
She smiled instead. 'Yeah, it was me. I'm Perrie.'
'Christian.'
'I know. I used to take ballet lessons with your mum ages ago.'
'I guess it's a small world then. How come I've never seen you around before last week then?'
'I used to live in a completely different part of town. I recently moved in with my dad.'
'So you and Caitlin have the same dad?'
'That's right.'
The lights turned off and the adverts started playing in the big screen.
'Well, hopefully I'll see you around more often now then.' Christian whispered before turning around.

Once the film was over, everyone started to leave the room apart from the two groups of friends. Christian walked over to Perrie.
'So Perrie, will I see you tomorrow at the match?'
'Unfortunately, yes.'
Perrie immediately realised that what she said could have been misinterpreted. 'Ehm, sorry that's not what I meant.' They both laughed. 'It's just that I'm not exactly a football fan.'
'What's not to love about seven and eight years old chasing after a ball?!'
'I'd like to turn that question around and ask you what's to love about that!'
'Perhaps you'd enjoy grown-ups football more.'
Perrie decided to tease him a bit realising he was flirting with her. 'Maybe I should give it a go. Was that an invitation to come and watch you play then?'
Christian's cheeks became red. 'Well, I... ehm...'
'I'm only joking, Christian. I don't think I'll ever enjoy football anyway.' She stuck her tongue out at him. She never had a proper boyfriend nor she was interested in having one in that particular moment in her life. but she always liked to flirt, just for fun.
'Never say never. But anyway, we live quite close now. I mean, I just know because I know where your dad lives. We could hang out sometimes, if you want.'
Perrie couldn't help but smile at Christian. She found really cute the way he was so nervous talking to her and got embarrassed by her cheeky remarks.
'Yeah, I'd like that. I don't know many people in the area.'
He looked down. 'I'll leave you my number if you want.'
Perrie passed him her phone and he quickly typed in his number. She then called him straight away for him to save her number.
'Looks like my friends are ready to go. I'll see you tomorrow then, I guess.'
'See you tomorrow, Christian.'

'Whoa, what was going on there with you two?!' Jesy started to interrogate her friend as soon as the boys left.
'Nothing really. I knew that boy when I was little, then I saw him last week at Caitlin's football practice.'
'What did he say to you? Do you like him?'
'One question at the time. First: nothing, we just chatted nonsense really. He gave me his number since we leave close now, or at least that's what he told me. Second: he's cute, yes, but I don't know if I like him. You know how I like to flirt though. He seems nice anyway, I reckon we could be friends.'
Jesy raised her eyebrows. 'I don't think he just wants to be your friend babe.'
