[Friday.]
'I was wondering, why didn't Christian ever thought of meeting you whilst you walk the dog? He keeps on saying how much he misses you but does nothing about it.'
Perrie rolled her eyes taking her headphones off, but smiling in the inside at the sound of Alex's voice.
'Because Christian knows that if my dad finds out I'll be in more trouble and he cares about it. You, on the other hand...'
'Your dad won't find out. And it's just a coincidence anyway, your dad can't pretend for people to stay at home when his precious angel is out and about.'
'You're wrong there, my dad doesn't consider me an angel at all!' They both laughed.
'And isn't he right?!'
'No, he's not, actually. I'm a very good girl.'
'And 'cause you're so good, are you allowed to come to my mum's party tomorrow?' Alex nervously asked.
'I am.'
'You don't look too happy about it.'
'I'm a bit nervous to be honest. After what happened with your dad...'
'My dad won't say a thing, you don't have to worry about him.'
'I really hope so. Then also, having all our families together, with you and Christian...'
'Oh, so that's the real issue. Christian doesn't suspect a thing and I thought we agreed to be friends, but if you changed your mind...'
'I never agreed to anything Alex, I think sometimes you make up conversations in your head.'
'Yeah, I think I do, but I like the outcome they have most of the time so I'll go by it.'
Alex laughed and Perrie got lost in his smile.
'How's your studying going?'
'Not well. I think I'm gonna give up.'
'Don't say that! It can't be that bad.'
'It is. I don't know what I was thinking. It's just not for me. It's like I'm reading in french or something...'
'You're so dramatic! I'm sure you'll be fine. Maybe you just need a bit of help.'
'Well, you were the one supposed to help me, but I guess that won't happen now.'
Perrie felt guilty refusing to help him. 'It's not that I don't want to, because I do. I just don't want to lie to Christian. And...'
'And?'
The girl felt her cheeks burning. 'Ehm, nothing. It would just be too complicated. And probably inappropriate.'
'I'm the king of inappropriate and awkward situations!' Alex thought for a second, then smirked. 'I think I just had an idea.'
'Oh God, what now?'
'Just leave it to me.'
'Is that the only reason why you want to be my friend?'
'What?'
'Just so that I can help you study?' She remarked sarcastically.
'Trust me, you'd be more distraction than help. But yeah, that's what friends are for, right? Although I'd definitely like to be more than friends for a whole lot of different reasons.'
Perrie blushed.
'Just call my brother tonight, after seven. I'll do the rest.'-Incoming call from Perrie.-
-Hey beautiful.
-Hey. How are you?
-Better now that you called.'Christian would you concentrate for a second?!'
'I don't get it mate, sorry. I tried to help you but I don't understand it.'
'You offered to help me?'
'Can we do this later? I'm on the phone!'-What's going on?
-It's just my brother. He's decided he wants to try for uni and I was trying to help him studying but all this science is just too complicated.'Who are you talking to? I told you not to tell anyone! Why are you such an idiot sometimes?!'
'Relax, it's just Perrie. She doesn't care. Your secret is safe.'
'It's clearly not safe with you!'-Good on him. Tell him I won't tell anyone, he doesn't need to worry.
'See? Told you! She won't tell.'
'Christian, you make me want to punch you sometimes.'
'Cheers, same goes for you. Can you get out my room now?'-If it's a bad time, I can call you later.
-No, no. Don't worry. We were done anyway.'I hope your girlfriend is smarter than you Chris, because otherwise your future babies will be screwed.'
'I hate when you're in this mood, Alex. You're so impatient! If you never studied a day in your life, you can't pretend to just wake up one morning being Einstein.'
'If you would just help me instead of playing Romeo and Juliet on the phone.'
'I tried but I don't understand it either!'-Do you understand much about science?
-Ehm, not my favourite subject but I wasn't too bad. Why?Perrie acted confused when in reality she was starting to understand that was all part of Alex's plan.
-Maybe you can help us then.
-I don't know Chris, I was alright, but not at uni level.
-You definitely have more chances than me and Alex put together and he probably wouldn't snap at you the way he does at me.
-What... but...
-Please, P. You're our last resort. Do it for me, I'll never hear the end of this otherwise. And if he gets in, he'll move far far away and I'm already enjoying the thought of life as an only child.Christian laughed down the phone, causing Perrie to laugh too. She was impressed with Alex and his plan and excited at the idea of spending time with him without any need to hide, but she was also worried, for the same exact reason.
-I... alright, I'll give it a go, but I can't promise anything.
-Thank you so much, you're such an angel.
-Oh, stop it. But how are we gonna do this if your parents don't know?
-We'll figure something out tomorrow, at the party. You're still coming, right?
-Yes.
-I can't wait to see you babe.
-Me either.Perrie Edwards
