(Lilah’s POV) It has been few days since the incident; I woke up and got ready. I opted for a simple jeans tee and jacket outfit. I quickly put up my shoe and went down for breakfast. Ashton was already on the table we usually go school together.

“Hi baby bro.” I said with a big smile on my face. “Heyya sissy.” he reverted and threw me an apple. Ashton was the best brother I could ask for. He was a sophomore in the same high school and was also pretty popular. He was so protective of me even when dad left. He would always be by my side and Comfort me. Although he was younger than me he treated me like he was my big bro. he was my shield and he knew about my condition and I know he tries his best for both me and mom and I’m so proud of him.

“Eat quickly and we’re gonna leave.” he said breaking my train of thoughts. “I’ll eat this in the car. You drive.” I said throwing the keys at him. We quickly grabbed our bags and left. “So, umm... You know Julie; she’s in the same classes as me.” he started. “I knew something was up but I loved her already so I showed him a thumbs up and said “I approve” Ashton being a player in our football team was quite popular but he knew how to respect people, especially girls and so I approved of him because he usually doesn’t talk about them easily. He threw me a smile and said, “You know I think you should give Xavier a chance.” “Not interested.” I said. I have not dated anyone since he last time. I was just not interested and neither did I trust anyone enough. I quickly got out and reached my locker once we arrived and saw Xavier and Stella standing there already.

“Hey honey” Stella beamed. She looked amazing. She was the fashionista of our little group and dressed amazing every day. Truly an inspiration.

“Someone’s looking hot” I said hugging her. “Good morning, Kiddo.” Xav said pulling me into a side hug. “Mooorrrnninngg” I dragged giving him a smile and eye roll. I saw Dylan, the schools bad boy, quarterback and Stella’s huge crush, coming towards us.

“Hey man.” he said bro hugging Xavier. I and Stella watched them in shock. Then he turned to us and said “hi girls.” I muttered a quite hi and saw Stella’s reaction. “Hey?” she said in a boring tone. I really adore this girl’s acting qualities. I knew she would be screaming within but she appeared so calm. “Dylan.” he said offering his hand to stella and smirking. “Stella.” she said avoiding his hand. “Oh you are the Champ’s cheerleading sis, right?” “Yeah. Lilah.” I said. He was friends with Ashton because he was one of the best players on the team and so that introduction. Suddenly the bell rang and we all rushed to the classes.
Break came by pretty fast and I went to sit at my usual desk to find Stella already there with Xavier. “What is going on here? “I questioned. “Oh hey” Xav said “I invited little boy here to sit with us. You won’t mind right?” Stella said looking at me amusedly. “Of course you did. Anyway what’s with you guys? You were supposed to be my best friend Stella.” “Oh honey, you are always my priority. It’s just that WE have a pretty good bonding. Don’t be jealous. He’s like the brother I never had.”She smirked “What!?!?”I shouted spitting my water all over the table. “Hey, hey, hey. Calm down. Kiddo. We won’t want anything happening to you.”Xavier said shifting towards me. I smacked his hand of my back and that’s when I saw Ashton and Julie enter the Room. In my school, the seniors and sophomores had lunch together so I sat together. I also saw Dylan walking towards us. They all came and sat in our table with Dylan towards Stella’s side then me then Xav , Juliana and Ashton. “Ok what’s going on today?” I huffed. “SO umm… I invited Julie to sit with us.”Ash said sending me a sheepish smile. “And we invited Dylan” Stella and Xavier said at the same time. I huffed and went back to eating sending glares to all of them while they laughed at my expressions.
