(Lilah's POV)

I quickly collected myself and said.”No Xav it’s nothing you are being Paranoid. I’m same. “
He noticed my inconvenience and said, “okay.”
“What about you?”I asked.
“I’m Good just peachy as all this is very new to me. But being with you all makes me happy.” He answered honestly.
“So, umm... what’s your deal with Ezabella?”I found myself asking and smacking myself inside my head.
He suddenly looked at me, smiled and said, “Douce (my sweet), she is a pretty girl, and she is Intelligent and…..”
“And?” I questioned suspiciously
“She’s just in my chemistry class and we are lab partners and that’s it.”
“I just shrugged and took out my earphones and phone to listen to some music.
“tunás pas besoind’etrejaloux.”he added.( you don’t need to be jealous)
I glared at him cause I knew he won’t answer me.
“Wait, I have a question. Who was that guy?”
“Umm… he was Tyler my ex.”I told him.
“But you- what happened?”He asked cautiously.
I shrugged and offered him my earphone. He took it and I kept my head on his shoulder. He made me feel lively. I loved this feeling. I felt free with him.
It was getting dark. Stella had left and so had Ashton.
I asked Xav to leave but he challenged me to jump off the little cliff. So currently me contemplating my life choices and my willingness to put up with dares as I stand at the edge of the creek.
Xav came by my side and held my hand, “Do you trust me?” he asked
Do I? I felt myself asking. Then I returned him a smile and said, “Yes.”
Yes I trusted him and he was my unraveling. He tried to understand me and not judge my exterior. He was slowly warming me down and helping me escape my past. I had lesser nightmares lately and I knew it had something to do with him. He cared for me even when I was cold to him in the past few days.
With that we both jumped into the water. It was still summer so the water felt relaxing. Then we got out after playing for a while and left the place. Xav dropped me at my place and we bided each other goodbye.

It’s Saturday and we have our play next week and I haven’t spent much time with Stella so she’ll be coming over later and Ash was going to take Julie on date. We girls have become pretty close with nagging boys during the break. Our little group is so comfy and supportive that they feel like family that I always wanted.
Stella came over and we went to my room grabbing some snacks and ice-cream that she brought.
“So what’s up with you and Dylan?”I asked
“Straight to the point now are we?” she teased.

(Stella’s Pov)

So I started telling lily whatever happened since the party.

[At the party]

I was dancing with the girls when Dylan asked for me to dance with him. I can’t believe I was finally talking to him. He always seemed o distant and unapproachable but I had a stupid big crush on him since forever. Just never had enough courage to go to him. He was the bad boy after all and from what I heard a payer too.
I quickly accepted and we danced a bit with my arms around his shoulder as I was a little tipsy.
“Umm… I’m thirsty; could you get me something to drink?” I asked and he nodded and went away.
Then, Jade one of my classmates came to me, he was kinda cute but not my type, nonetheless he started to dance with me and make small talks. That’s when a heard a low growl and turned my head.
Dylan was standing their holding a red solo cup in his hands which he clutched so tight that it spilled. Then he grabbed my hand and took me to the side.
“What the hell, Dylan?” I asked.
“I don’t know if you are actually naïve or just acting but he was clearly trying to get you.”
“Well so what?”I said my alcohol taking over.
“I am a very possessive person and I don’t share what’s mine, clearly I might add.” He said
“Well who’s yours?”I asked
“Not now but soon.” He said
“Well, what if I don’t allow?” I questioned. I was a sweet person but never in my life I would not be dependent on anyone I was no one’s property.
“Okay, I’m sorry” he said trying to calm me down and I huffed.
“So if I asked you, would you allow me to hit on you?” he asked cocking and eyebrow and rubbing his neck nervously.
He looked so cute with his walls down, all nervous and I said, “Maybe.” Then I went away to get Lily.
After that day he had been hitting on me sending me cute texts and smiling at me every now and then.

[the day of proposal]

So after we all were done decorating and went to our little hide out. Dylan pulled me too his sideand I collided to his chest. We stared at each other for a while. He had a hard bad boy exterior but I could see he was trying for me.
“You know, I’m very fascinated by you and I know you were drunk that day but I kinda like you.” He said looking at me.
“ya I know , I do too.” I said looking away.
That’s when I heard Ash playing his guitar and knew it was time. Once we got out and everything went well. Dylan kissed my cheek and I couldn’t help but blush profusely. I noticed Lily giving me a questioning glance but I just avoided.
Later, he drove me back home and bided me goodbye.
“I’ll wait for you to be ready, just don’t give up on me.” He said coming to my side and kissing my forehead. Then I nodded and went back in. I couldn’t help but think that was more to him then he showed. And I knew that I had to tell this to Lily and if I don’t tell her she would go all Bruce Lee on me later.
