(lilah's POV)

WE had our Drama class next and we had to audition for the play due for the semester. I had this class with all my ‘friends’. Also, Xavier and Dylan were supposed to act compulsorily to get their grades as Xav was already an amazing student who can’t compromise with his grades and Dylan had to get his grades up for being on the team.
We reached the class together and found Mr.Riv, our English teacher there. Miss. Montez addressed us then, “Class I would like you all to know that we have decided that your English and drama class will be clubbed together for this theatrical as we’ll be doing Shakespeare’s play ‘Much ado about nothing’ hence, your English classes will be subjected to drama for the time being and your project grades of both subjects will be based on your performance.
“For those who are not a part of the play must write a 10 page essay based on the different parts of the play and your evaluation about it.”Mr.Riv explained.
Basically, English was a compulsory subject for all of us but only a few had drama. Thankfully, all four of us were a part of the English as well as drama class.
Later, we auditioned and got our roles. I was extremely happy as I got the role of one of the leads, Beatrice, but also Xavier was my counterpart i.e. Benedick. Also, Dylan and Stella were casted for Claudio and Hero who were supposed to be married by the end. I could practically see Stella screaming about this to me later while Dylan’s annoyance was clearly visible.
After the class we decided that they all would come to my house to discuss the play. Stella decided to go with me directly once school ended.

After school Stella got into my car and screamed as expected.
“OMG can you believe it? He was so good at the role! I wished that we’d be paired.”
“I know stupid. Calm down” I said
“Xavier is so lucky for me. I can’t believe why did he not come here before. You should totally give him a chance. I can he see he likes you honey.” she ranted.
“Okay, Stella, where did that include Xavier and most importantly you know everything plus I don’t even like him.”
“OH stop it with the nonsensical talks. I can see through you, you have been happier since he came and I can see it.”
I just gave her a glance and got out of the car as we reached my place.
“Okay get out quick.” Since today was Friday we planned on getting a basic layout and make some plans about tomorrow.
We were chatting and made some snacks when Ash got back from his practice.
“Oh hey Lily, hi Stella.” he said
“Hey Ashy boy heard from a little birdie that someone has a little crush huh?” Stella teased.
“Lily, what the hell WHYYYY?” ash whined and went back to his room.
We laughed and took out some snacks till then heard a knock.
“Stella, go check the door.”I shouted
“On it” she said
Then I heard three voices from the hall and knew the boy were here.
I felt someone behind me but I was picking up the wafers packet from the upper cabinet but it was a little higher.
“Here let me help.” and I recognized Xavier’s breath on the crook of my neck and his hand reach up the cabinet.
I flushed. “Umm...Thanks.”I said.
We went back to the hall and saw ash sitting there with Dylan and Stella.
“You should have asked Julie to come honestly, Xav” Stella teased as she saw Xav.
And Ash stuck his tongue out like a baby. Stella and Ash had this cute sibling relationship.
“What’s going on here?” Xav asked cluelessly.
“How can you be so dumb, big bro?”Stella said smiling
“Hey I was your bro.” ash said while Xav gave her a look saying “you are weird.”
“Ashy boy here has a crush on your sister.” Stella stated boringly.
And the looks on their faces were amazing to say the least. Dylan was looking at Stella amused throughout the conversation.
“You are one hell of an interesting character, Stella I must say.” finally Dylan stated and Ash avoided Xav’s look. Finally, he went to ash kept his hand on his shoulder and said, “I don’t mind. But make her sad even unintentionally and I’ll break your bones.”
I glared at him but then smiled seeing him shrug and how he cared about his sister.
“Thanks man, you can trust me.” Ash said and left the room.
We then discussed about the play and I saw Dylan passing glances to Stella. Something is definitely going to happen I thought.
Then we decided that well attend a party tomorrow and the boys finally left. My mom was working late and would be back by midnight. So me and ash ordered some pizza and then watched movies. He was ecstatic that Xavier agreed and I could see how much he liked Juliana and I was proud of him.
