Can't believe I'm starting my diary with this but ugghhh
Dear Diary,
I really don't know what to feel. Which sucks because having a place to anchor gives me a false sense of security.
On that note, I think Esther found my- and Ilya's- old cabin. I forgot it even existed. Brings back memories. Mostly bad ones.
I don't know what happened to him. Esther doesn't either, and she was apparently so exhausted by life that she phased into the void and back again. At least that was how she put it, but she was chugging her last bottle of Scottish wine, so I guess I should take that with a pinch of salt.
Why I'm doing this, I hate to admit. Charlie called me a creep, and I think I need a better outlet for my bottled-up feelings. Here I go, then.
Tethis and Nix are happy that they get to stop running for once, but I keep feeling like I should be doing something about Konstsntin's hint. Did he mean that Ilya had a chance to return? And where could I get that information?
It's hurting my head, honestly.

I asked Tethis about the waking up someone from an enchanted sleep thing. She had no idea, except for the good old 'kiss of true love' thing. That story had a ton of plotholes, like a) how can some guy just fall in love with a dead girl? Dude, are you a necrophile? and b) it should be called a kiss of lust instead.
I don't know which one I feel for him. I'm not going to do that.
Nix suggested summoning the Weaver again. Just, no. That thing took my friend's life, it's not going to give it back.
Esther is still hungover. One of the downsides of having no bloodstream.
21st November
It's snowing, and so are the onslaught of memories. He got so scared of crystallised water that he hid in the attic and tried to attack me with a rake.
I miss him.

25th November
I can't stand it. He's in there, suffering, and I'm here scavenging for non-existent information.
- Blood
- Pine needles
- Personal effects
- Candles, red26th
I'm leaving this out for Esther to see, in case I don't make it out alive tomorrow.
The moment it started to snow, Nix had grabbed their swords and insisted for a duel in the snow. Easy for the lightfooted vampires, Tethis thought as she trudged through two feet of snow. Jerks.
Nix won four out of five rounds before thrusting her sword into a nearby tree trunk. 'All right,' she said, trying to breathe heavily, 'this doesn't make any sense.'
Tethis, up to the knees in snow, looked around for physics-defying objects. 'Point it out.'
Nix pointed to Tethis's feet. 'Why are you sinking? It's crystallised water?'
Tethis sighed heavily, sinking several inches deeper. 'Unholy paganism, remember?'
'But Zeus-'
'Shh. In this house we do not acknowledge Zeus.'
'Fair enough.'
She sank deeper. Nix chuckled and grabbed her by the arms, lifting her up from the drift. Tethis put her head on her shoulder to make it easier for her.
