Legolas' POV
I stepped up to the bow of the ship, and called, "Gimli! Look!"
He stumbled over to where I was standing, looking out into the distance.
"Legolas," he growled, " If this is another false alarm... Like LAST time..."
He trailed off as Frodo, up in the crow's nest, shouted for all to hear, "LAND HO!"
"Whoopee!" Gimli shouted while dancing around the deck, as I stood by, trying not to laugh. "Land is finally here!"
I quickly ran to Gandalf, and asked him where we had arrived.
"America," he replied, smiling at Gimli. "In fact, a small town in Arkansas called Conway."
"Conway, Arkansas?" I asked, confused. "What kind of a name is that?"
"It is certainly different, Legolas," Gandalf replied calmly. "But the people who live here are very different from
us. They live in a place where you can never tell which people are good and bad. You have to get to know them-- and hope for the best." He chuckled.
Suddenly, there was a big bump. We had finally reached... Um, America?
