I finally got up the courage to ask her if I could stay with her. Gandalf had told us to find our own place to stay-- his words were, "I'm not paying."
She stared, then said, "Sure, but you have to stay in the attic. My parents would KILL me if they found out-- fictional character or not."
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Hennethien," she replied with a dreamy, far off look. "My parent really liked Lord of the Rings, so they gave me an elf name..."
