" You're wearing my socks dummy!" Lil said with a slight grin. " How am I to know that Lilly!" Amor said right back. " Lilly?!" Lil asked. " It rhymes with dummy see!" Amor displayed a cheeky grin on his pretty little face. " Ugh!" Lil shook her head desperately as Amor slowly slid off his socks and gave them back to Lil. "Thank you!" Lil said with as much sarcasm as one could possible fill in a single word.

Jared and I just sat back and enjoyed the scene. " Guys faster! we're seriously getting late." Jared informed the two, who were busy making faces at each other. "GROW UP!" I shouted and that immediately shut them up. I personally feel that I have talent of making people shut up.

Just then Will walked in and ushered us outside. Three black sedans were shimmering in the sun and my jaw dropped to touch the floor. "Whoa! we're goin' in style!" I jumped up and down with excitement. Lil and I grabbed one of the sedans. The boys went in the other and the last one was taken by Will.  I had a first class experience sitting in the sedan. As soon as I entered through the polished door, I was blasted in the face by the chilly air from the air conditioner. A tablet was hung on the backrest of the shotgun seat and I quickly made myself comfy in front of it. Their were bottles of Coke, Fanta and Miranda in the hollow sockets. A mini fridge was also installed between the seats. It was filled with ice creams and chocolates. I decided to grab the dairy milk silk and Lil settled for the good old M&M's, picking out the pink and yellow ones and popping them in her mouth.

I grabbed a few of her M&M's and generously gave Lil two bars of my silk. We were having a party. A party without people and noise. A party in a sedan. I loved it!  We even jammed the radio to full volume. K-POP tunes filled our ears and I swayed with the dashing music. After the music died down and advertisements started cramming up the radio, we quickly turned it off and switched our attention to the shiny black screen of the tab.

I switched it on and scrolled through the movies. After some amount of debate and speculation we decided on 'The Christmas Prince'. I have no clue why but we just ended up watching that after going through epic movies like Home alone, Charlie's Angels, Princess  Diaries, Inside-out and a ton others. But our choice came out to be a good one. 'The Christmas Prince' was a pretty cool movie with a nice plot. At least until the part we watched, we couldn't complete it cause we had reached the airport and what seemed like the best experience of my life, had come to an end.

We tumbled out of the sedan with filled tummies and happy minds. The guys were also happier and their tummies looked suspiciously full. We slid inside the airport, making our way through all the checks and security booths. About half an hour later we were sitting in the plane and playing Charades.

Suddenly the gruff voice of the pilot filled the plane " Good evening passengers, our flight will reach The Kempegowda Bangalore airport in approximately three hours. We hope you have a comfortable journey and we wish to see you aboard our plane again. I am your pilot Richard Barrow with co-pilot Dinesh Singh. For any queries or difficulties please contact our able crew members. Thank you ladies and gentlemen." The plane that had quietened down during this announcement suddenly broke into a babble as the announcement ended. Men in business suits shouted over their phones and women took care of their children.

Two siblings were arguing over the window seat and the mother smartly grabbed the seat for herself. The kids sat on the other two seats. babies were wrapped in thick blankets and sweaters and grandparents wore earmuffs and shawls. As I observed the people in the plane my eyes slowly rested upon Will. He was whispering something over his phone and I could only make out the words - seen, out, hide and what suspiciously sounded like kill- I shook my head and thought it was my wild imagination. I turned my head toward the window and started noticing other planes dotted up along the runways. Workers were bustling about, shouting , screaming and occasionally doing some work.

People swarmed in and out of planes and my though shifted to tourism and tourist attractions and soon things smudged before my eyes and I slowly dropped my eye lids and drifted into a peaceful sleep. I dreamed of planes and sand and sedans. Happy and pleasant dreams if you ask me!

"Uuuuuh" I slowly opened my eyes and blinked them a few times wondering where I was. "Jade, we're here." Lil whispered into my ear. I dragged myself up into a sitting position. Amor and Jared were already standing and getting our hand bags out. I rubbed my eyes and slipped into my shoes. I quickly flattened my ruffled and puffed hair and stood up beside Lil. "Where's Will?" I asked her. " He's down, he already got off the plane." I nodded. We slowly moved down the aisle and the air hostess wished us as we got down the plane. I smiled and nodded back.

After being to Rajasthan and it's hot deserts, I was expecting hot weather and a bright sun, Instead the weather was cool and the sky was clouded with grey misty clouds. Their was cool breeze and I felt an unreasonable sense of happiness. My friends came down just after me and I could tell they were surprised by the weather too. A random friendly stranger in a turban must have seen our puzzled looks so he said " Doston (friends in Hindi), Bangalore is on a plateau so it has cool, pleasant weather throughout the year. You all must be visiting for the first time. Enjoy your time in Bangalore!" The man smiled under his bushy mustaches and hobbled away with the crowd.

We all remained quiet for some time taking in the outside environment of this cool city. Then I decided to break the peace. " Well guys, A new day, A new place." I continued...

" WELCOME TO BANGALORE!"
