"Oh, I'm sorry!" The stranger said, Kenma looked up to see who the stranger was but was meet with an oddly familiar face, the two looked at each other in shock with wide eyes and confused expressions.

"Shoyo...?" Kenma said, shocked yet happy at the same time, "T-that's me... Hi Kenma." Hinata replied awkwardly, the two stood there in an awkward silence, but the silence soon broke when Kenma spoke- "Why did you leave us?" He said, Hinata seemed shocked and an aura surrounded him.

The aura was sad and somewhat empty, it was suffocating.

"I- I left..." Kenma listened in carefully to not miss any details, "Well, there's a good reason to why I left, cutting ties with everyone..." He said, Kenma could only stare in confusion, he didn't want to be that pushy guy who asked so many questions but Kenma couldn't help it.

"Why did you leave us really?"

"Where have you been?"

"Why are you here at the hospital?"

Hinata stood there with a now confused face, back in high school, Kenma wasn't the one who would talk as much- guess people really do change over time?

Kenma stood in from of the ginger as he waited for answers, that was when Hinata took a few steps back and turned around, Kenma felt panic rise in him- he didn't want Hinata to leave him again. "Are you coming?" Hinata asked, "O-oh, yeah." Kenma felt stupid for stuttering but he felt thankful that he found Hinata.

"So how's life been?" Hinata asked with a closed smile, "It's been good, I'm got into a job at the cafe that's nit far from my place." Kenma replied, "Oh that's nice, have you kept in contact with anyone?" Hinata said, "Mm- yeah, Akaashi, Bokuto, Kuroo, Sugawara, Yamaguchi, somehow Oikawa and Lev." Kenma said as he sighed.

Hinata hummed in response as he continued down the hallway with Kenma next to him, "So are you visiting?" Kenma asked, "No... I'm a patient here." Hinata said, his face turned into a saddened expression and so did Kenma's but with more shock, "What happened?" Kenma said but soon interrupted himself, "Ah- sorry for all the questions.." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's fine, I'll try and tell you everything once we get to my room." Hinata said as a sad smile stayed on his face, Kenma had a ball of guilt build up in his stomach but it soon went away as Hinata started a different conversation with him.

After a few minutes, the two were now in Hinata's room and both sat on the bed as they looked out the window, Kenma and Hinata caught up on so much and talked for a while- but as the silence was brought up upon them once again Hinata spoke, "I guess you want to know everything, why I left and why I'm here?" He said to which Kenma nodded slowly.

And from there- Hinata's story began.

"After graduation, I was still talking to everyone but as you already know, I soon left after those few months and trust me, I didn't want to leave everyone behind- especially without a reason for it... So, it all began when I was in middle school, when my father was around... he was always drunk and went crazy at times, I remember how he would always come crashing into my room while I was sleeping, and every time he did it- if I didn't wake up to the bang, then he'd beat me or try to choke me... that's where my insomnia started.

I struggled every night to fall asleep peacefully- scared of someone like him coming into my room, then when it came to high school, he was still around but suddenly vanished around the end of my first year, I felt happy though... but I still struggled to sleep, even during training camps, I'd just sit there wide awake... he also abused me if that wasn't already obvious, I have scars all around my torso and on some other places.

As I was getting better and the hours of sleep were becoming higher and higher... he came back half way in my second year, you've already meet my mother at one stage so you know what she's like- she likes giving others a second chance and so... she gave him one, and there he was, back in the frame.

The abuse continued and many incidents had happened which took away all my progress of getting a decent sleep, when it came to graduation, my mum decided to take me to the doctors just for a normal check up really and my sister also tagged along, when our results came through... I was diagnosed with insomnia- I couldn't exactly remember which one it was but if it puts me in hospital, then it must be bad right?

After some research, I saw the possible outcomes and... the one that worried me was that I could- die... I guess I panicked but I waited until after graduation to leave all of you since maybe you'd all think that I had a life to live or something like that... I'm sorry I didn't say anything and ever since that day, I've regretted my choice of actions and I'm always blaming myself because it really is my fault."

Kenma looked at Hinata with wide eyes- 'how could someone who was always so happy and energetic be like this.' He thought. Kenma never thought of things like abuse or insomnia when it came to thinking of him, now he knew the reason to why Hinata started to slow drift away from everyone.
