KENZIE'S POV
Johnny and I drove home in different cars since we came to school that way.
When I got home, Johnny's car was already parked meaning he was ready inside. I really hoped things would change after what I said to him at school earlier about easing the bullying. I opened the door and froze. Sat on the couch was Johnny, Brynn and Hayden. Oh did I mention...BRYNN!! They all turned around and looked at me. Johnny started to scratch his neck and look down while Brynn immediately stood up. She stared at me and I thumbled around with the keys in my hand. Oh god. What am I meant to do. She's going to kill me! Actually...holddddd up! She's in MY house! Well Johnny house but it's mine for a while!
I cleared my throat and stood up taller
"What the HELL is she doing here babe!" Brynn screamed looking down at Johnny who seems lost for words
"WELL?!"
"She uh...um" Johnny stuttered
Oh whatever. If Johnny can't stand up to her I'll show him how
"I live here actually!" I said proudly
"W-wh-WHAT" she yelled, stomping her foot
"Johnny?" I said, arms folded, staring at him
"Uh y-yeah. She lives with me" he mumbled scratching behind his ear a little
"But your not related?" Brynn questioned
"Are you going to tell her or do I have to" I huffed at Johnny
"My um mom h-hired her to baby sit me because she doesn't trust me" he laughed
"She's your...baby sitter?" Brynn asked
"Yep I am and now since that's be shared I'm going upstairs" I said sarcastically smiling
As I am stepped onto the first step I heard Brynn say something to Hayden and Johnny
"I can't believe you have to live with that disgusting excuse of a girl"
I stopped. I couldn't move my legs. She said some really hurtful things to me in the past but still this dug deep
I turned around, took a deep breath and replied
"I can't believe you were brought up to treat others so badly. You always go on about status but no one's going to want to talk to you if you have no manners"
I know it's not the best comeback but I didn't really one and I couldn't let her win
I then ran up the stairs to my room. As I opened the door I heard a call from downstairs
"Mackenzie wait!"
It was Johnny. I didn't care though I couldn't be around their perfect little world anymore. It was driving me insane
I layed on my bed, hand on my stomach and just stared at the ceiling. That is until I heard shouts and yells from below me and then a door slammed
What was going on down there?
The door creaked open and I sat up onto my arms
"Mackenzie?" Johnny said softly
"Go away Johnny. Be with your amazing friends" I said sarcastically
"I kicked them out" he replied opening my door wider and stepping into the room
"W-what?" I sat up completely and sat at the end of the bed
"Yeah well I made a promise to you to stop the bullying. And I don't like to break a promise" he told me smiling
