17. Don't Be Afraid, I'm Here

Jimin's lips feel softer that they look. Sounds impossible, but it's true.
Are mine as soft?

I need to take better care of my lips if I'm going to go around stealing kisses from gorgeous boys.

My kisses are tentative at first, but then I get bold when he doesn't stop me.

This is my opportunity to bring my fantasies with Jimin to life, and I grab it.

I pull his bottom lip between mine and gave him a close, wet kiss, smashing our lips together like my life depends on it.

The best thing is that he's responding with the same vigour. He shifts so that he's hovering above me instead of us lying side by side.

I started it, but somewhere along the way, he grabbed the reins.

Jimin kisses me harder than I have ever been kissed before. My face is held between his hands, but I don't feel the pain from earlier on. Every feeling in my body has been replaced with a fierce longing. I can't recall the last time I was this horny.

I raise my right leg and wrap it around his hips, resting it between his legs. Then I arch my pelvis, desperately needed his contact.

Jimin groans and pulls from the kiss. "You don't want to do that," he warns in a raspy voice.

"I do."

Then I accompany my words with another push of my hips.

"Touch me," I whisper.

Like you did earlier on. Just one more time. I won't stop you this time.

His gaze burns into me.

He shakes his head. "I can't," he says softly, "I can't do this."

He pulls my leg away and leaves the bed.

I sit up, trying to regain my breath. And feeling like the most stupid person ever.

I mean... I thought he was into this.... I thought he wanted this.

But here I am, with my obvious hard on, while he paces a few steps away.

He already regrets it.

"Look, I'll um, go get an ice pack for your face, stay here."

Then he leaves.

Just like that.

I'm honestly confused. I mean, a few hours ago he had been eager to get his hands in my pants, but now...

Or is he just interested in flirting, but nothing more?

Maybe he never crossed that boundary.

I mean...

He has a boyfriend.

A boyfriend who's my roommate.

Who I just betrayed by making out with his boyfriend.

What's wrong with me?

I turn and press my face into one of Hoseok's pillows. At what point did I forget that Jimin is out of my reach?

But...

He kissed me back.

For a while, at least, before he changed his mind. Maybe that was for the best.

What did I expect, anyway? That he would go behind Hoseok's back with me? Did I even want that?

I, however, can't help thinking that I would be better at hiding my attraction if Jimin didn't flirt with me the way he does. Why did he have to go and behave like that during the movie? It looks like staying away from him is the only way I'm going to fight these feelings.
