^Brody Barnes and Courtney Hudson.^
It was Saturday afternoon Bucky and Brody had just gotten home from work. On their way home Brody picked up his girl Courtney. As they were letting out the dogs Brody heard gravel crunching.
He looked up to the main road to see a candy apple red truck.
"Who the hell is that?" Brody said as the truck turned down their road.
"Didn't you say that little James was expecting someone?" Courtney said from the porch swing.
Brody went running inside and up the stairs. He busted through Bucky's door before Bucky even had clothes on.
"Dude! What the fuck?!" Bucky said as he quickly covered himself.
"I'm your brother we use to share a room I've seen your junk. For fucksakes we play football together. Anyways hurry up get dressed." Brody said
"Is there something going on?" Bucky said as he pulled on some ball shorts and a t shirt.
"Just hurry.." he said as he practically dragged his little brother down the stairs.
Just as they came out the front door that red truck was pulling into their driveway.
Bucky saw the front license plate "Skylar" around her name said "Yes Boys This Is my truck."
"I'm in love..oh my god peaches.." Bucky whispered
Skylar opened her door and stepped out. Bucky slipped his boots on that were on the porch. He walked out to her.
"Peaches..what in the world are you doing driving this thing." He said as she was standing all bent over her passenger side.
"I asked my daddy for a candy apple red truck for my sixteenth birthday and this was what he got." She said as she shut the door.
"But you are so tiny peaches." He said
She gasped. "I am no damsel James. I passed my drivers test two weeks ago on the first try and got a 95 on parallel parking thank you!" She said with her hands on her hips.
He put his hands up. "Okay peaches I'm sorry if I offended. I'm just saying you are very tiny." He said as they walked towards the house.
"So this is Peaches. Hi I'm Brody this knucklehead's brother or one of three. And this is my girl Courtney Hudson." Brody said
"Hi..my real name is Skylar Jones." Skylar said
"Nice to meet you Skylar." Courtney said
"Nice to meet you both." She said
Winnie and James came out of the house. "Well if it isn't my star pupil from my 7th grade English class. How are you doing Skye honey?" Winnie said
"I'm doing great. It's nice to see you again." She said
"Dad this is Peaches. You know the girl that James Jr doesn't shut up about." Brody said
"Shut up." Bucky said as he punched his brother.
"Nice to meet you Skye. And you have hell of a truck." James said
"Nice to meet you Mr Barnes. Bucky take me to where you want to study." She said
"Right let's go. Excuse us." Bucky said as he lead her inside.
They went inside his house and up the stairs. She sat down on the floor he sat beside her with his laptop.
"I finished the book this morning. Here is what I have so far. I worked on some of it in between customers today." He said
She began to read over the first page of his book report.
