SCENE-1
"So..." Said the woman sitting in front of me, "You are the principals nephew?" She asked me with a slight frown on her face.
She is my new homeroom teacher, Ms. Sturlson and she teaches us chemistry. She was one of those people whose jobs are clearly written on their faces. She wore a pink coloured cat eyed spectacle over her pale green eyes. Her dark circles weren't concealed at all, even though it was visible that she had expended a painful amount of time into hiding it by applying make-up. She had natural greenish black hair. Sometimes, her hair shone so much, that person could mistake her hair to be a bush or something. She wore a white shirt along with a separate black skirt, which gave out the 'teacher vibe' from her. She wore red-high heels, whose heels were about three inches long. Even after all that, she seemed like a decent person to me.
Okay. She has probably assumed me to be one of those spoiled brats.
It wasn't anything new to me. All the people who I have met in my life had presumed a mistaken fact: the fact that I was spoilt. There might have been a time when I really was spoiled, but that was before my mother passed away. In fact, rIght now, I feel that I am more mature than almost all the students who are of my age.
"Yes, I am. But I also comprehend the fact that it doesn't give me a ticket to present myself in a superior way in school and also that it doesn't provide me any kind of privilege."
"Everyone says that in the beginning, but do you think you follow it through?"
"Yes, I can confidently state that I can."
"Hmmm... You are kind of different from the other spoilt brats, aren't you? It's as if you come from a different species."
Different kind of species? Doesn't make sense. I am too a human.
"Huh? Is it wrong?" Although I calmly uttered these words from my mouth, I was really pissed at her.
"Not at all! Always remember this:" She said while turning her chair towards me, "Being unusual and rare doesn't imply that you are in the wrong."
I was completely shocked with her statement. Not everyone in the world have this perspective. The people are scared of the unusual and the abnormal. What's my stance on it? I think that it's just a matter of perspective. An abnormal person would consider a normal person to be unusual. That's how sociopaths are 'created.' I used the word 'created' because a person doesn't simply turn into a sociopath, the world around him re-structures him into one. Just because a person has an unusual opinion or no opinion at all regarding certain matter, he is considered to be abnormal by the masses. This leads to self-doubt and isolation. But the truth is, a person can't live long while doubting his each and every decision and opinion. In the end, the weak commit suicide, and the strong change their perspective and regard the so called 'normals' as unusual. This doesn't end here. If a normal, working and prideful person of society tries to involve himself with the abnormals, then even they are disregarded by the society because they think that even they have turned abnormal. Also, this is only valid for people who aren't put on the pedestal by the society. If the people on the top of this mountain called 'society' try to help the people who aren't able to climb the mountain, then their value in society increases even more. Sadly, this is why some people fake being kind to the unusual.
I ended up disregarding the rest of the conversation I had with the teacher because I was too busy bitching about society to myself, though, I was responding her questions sub-consciously. But hey, you can't blame me. It's how my time works.
"Okay. So you enter the classroom when I give you the signal and then you introduce yourself." I finally heard her consciously.
"Fine." I replied.
