WAFFLE-O

Chapter Four

Gavin opened the door, grinning from ear to ear. He glancd at Ray with a confused expression when he saw that we were holding hands, and the ushered us inside. Closing the door behind us, Gavin lead us to the living room. I saw that Jack, Geoff, and Michael were already here. We were just waiting for Ryan. The guys all said hi and we sat down next to each other on the sofa. "So we just need Ryan now. Shall we start playing?" After a while Ryan arrived and Gavin's mum came in with a plate of cookies, and as soon as she saw me, she hugged me and asked me how I was. I told her I was great, and she vanished into the kitchen. I leaned over to Gavin and whispered in his ear. "Hey, where's the toliet?"

"Up the stairs, first door on the left." Gavin whispered back. 

"Ok thanks." I stood up and passed my controller to Ryan. As soon as I left the room I heard the guys start interogating Ray. On the way to Gavin's, we had agreed that we would tell the guys. Ray had pointed out that they would find out anyway. I caught tiny amounts of the conversation as I walked up the stairs. I heard Gavin say that we turned up holding hands and Geoff say that we were adorable together. I thought about the other guys who had girlfriends. There was Michael and Lindsay, and Geoff had a girlfriend who I had met once. Her name was Griffon, and she was really cool. I had heard Jack mention that Gavin had a girlfriend, but I had never met her. It was nice to think I was part of that group officially now. When I was finished in the bathroom, I walked into the room and everyone fell silent and looked at me, grinning. I sat down next to Ray and looked at the guys. "So I guess you know."

"Yeah, we know." There was a moment of awkward silence. I wasn't sure what to say, so I just looked at Ray. He looked back at me and we both shrugged. Suddenly, Gavin piped up. "Have you two kissed yet?" Everyone started laughing. Ray shook his head, and we both blushed. Michael spoke for the first time I had been back. "You should. Go on." We blushed harder. 

"We only started dating today!" 

"Yeah, we've known each other for a week. You guys are so annoying!" Me and Ray protested but Michael and Gavin started a chant. "KISS! KISS! KISS!" Eventually I felt Ray lean over and kiss my cheek. I looked at him and then we sort of agreed without saying anything. He leaned towards me and kissed me, and I kissed him back. The guys fell silent again, and then started cheering. We pulled away from each other, and then he hugs me. Michael, Gavin, Geoff, Jack, and Ryan all came over and hugged us to. I felt awkward, and then Ray whispered in my ear. 

"We're all friends. Friends love each other."

"Yeah." I whispered back.

"WAFFLE-O?"

"WAFFLE-O."
