Chapter 4 : See you in court

I struggled to open my eyes. It is 6am right now. I promised myself I am going to wake up earlier yesterday so that I won't be late for the very last school day of this year. Seems like I kept my promise.

As I wearily drag myself out of the bed, I decide to take a look at my sweetheart Monika. We sleep in separate rooms as we are not that far into our relationship yet. However, it won't hurt for me to take a peek, right?

I listened quietly behind the door. It is silent inside her room. Guess she's still sleeping. I gently open the door......

And there she is, sleeping peacefully in the bed I gave her. Since its summer now, she sleeps with nothing but her underwear on. I sneak around and observed her. She is indeed hot. I froze. How did she know this? Wasn't she sleeping?

'What makes you jump to such conclusion?' I tried my best to defend myself.

'You are aware the you are a 60kg male right? Your footsteps are so evident that they woke me up.' Monika looks angry. I really messed up that part.

'Look Monika, I am sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I promise I won't do it again in the future.' I apologized to her sincerely. The best way to deal with an angry woman is to apologize over and over again, so I repeated my words.

'Haha player, I am just teasing you. I am not angry at all. We are a couple living together, after all.' Monika's face shifted from an angry one to smiling, 'But seriously though, please don't do that again. If you want to see me in my underwear you could have just asked but its rude to peek without my permission.'

I serve Monika and myself the breakfast I made. Monika gave me some constructive feedback as I gobbled down my ration. Yeah I know it taste horrible compared to Monika's cooking. I should probably leave those jobs to my girlfriend in the future.

Another school day pass by without anything peculiar happening. In my school there is a ceremony for each year's last school day. We sang our school song, listened to our principal's signature '1 hour of motivational speech', and bid farewell to those senior teachers that are leaving. Soon its 11am and the bell rang, signaling the end of the school year.

'If you encounter any difficulties in your summer assignments, feel free to call me any time.' I said to Gavin as we arrived at the school gate.

'Thats another way to say that I suck, meanie.....' Gavin pouted. He is so cute when he pouts.

'Yeah whatever. See you after 2 months!' I smiled as I wave goodbye to my best friend.

Monika and I watched TV for the entire afternoon. I don't feel like starting my summer assignments so early and Monika just wanted to cuddle. I turned on Netflix and we proceed to binge watch TV series. Monika rested her head on my shoulder the whole time while I hold her hand. She wasn't wrong in what she said back in the game. Watching TV together is indeed a romantic thing to do.
