Yamaguchi Y/N was very annoying.

And loud.

And scatter-brained.

And she never shuts up.

Something Tsukishima knew all too well.

Since Y/N was his best friend's twin sister, he was basically forced to be friends with her (although, at times it felt like he was a babysitter). Which meant that on days like this where Tadashi was sick at home, he was forced to walk home with Y/N alone.

Normally, he would just put on his headphones and ignore her, blasting whatever song came on his shuffle loud enough so that he couldn't hear her. Today however, Y/N was being especially persistent, giving his shoulder a firm poke every couple seconds.

After about a minute of poking, Tsukishima huffed in annoyance, pulling down his headphones.

"Yes?"

"What are you listening to?" You asked, looking up at the blonde with practically sparkling eyes.

"Don't worry about it. It isn't any of your business." He coldly replied, rolling his eyes at your qestion.

"Come on! It was just a question. I'm not that bad you know, I don't know what I did to make you hate me so much..." You trailed off, looking down at the pavement.

You were queit for about 3 minutes, which really shocked Tsukishima. You were hardly ever not talking, and he always remembered himself begging for this moment. So why did he feel uncomfortable in your silence?

Letting out another sigh, the blonde took off his headphones and quickly pressed them over your head. After they were situated, he pressed the "play" button on his phone before you had a chance to question him.

Music was playing very loudly into your ears, almost scaring you at first. After a couple seconds you found yourself listening to the music. For years you have wondered what he was always listening to in those headphones, and you dont really know what you were expecting, but it wasnt this.

Tsukkishima Kei listens to pop punk?!

Before you could even say anything, he pulled the headphones from your head, and placed them back over his neck.

"Now will you leave me alone-"

"Make me a playlist!" You interrupted, too excited to wait for him to finish.

"What? No." Tsukishima immediately replied. He didn't have time for you and your silly requests.

"Please? Only like a few songs! I promise I'll never bother you again about it." You pleaded, almost sounding believable.

"Fine, just a few songs I see before we get to your house. If we manage to get to your house and it only has like 6 songs, not my problem. Got it?" Tsukishima did not have time for you and your silly requests, but you and your annoying mouth would be even worse, so he figured he had to choose his battles.

"Thank you Tsukki!" Your words were loud, per-usual.

"Don't call me that."

The rest of the walk was peaceful, you slightly humming to yourself and Tsukishima looking down on his phone, creating your playlist.

Truth be told, you didn't really like pop punk, you would never listen to it on your own. You actually were just curious because you wanted to know about what Tsukishima listened to. You wanted to know more about him in general, and if a playlist of music you would never pick yourself was a way to do that, you'd listen to the damned thing every single day.

Your door appeared much too fast for your liking, and soon the walk was over. Just as you were about to say goodbye to your brother's best friend, your text tone was heard.
