Chapter 29: He Took Me Out.

*The Next Morning*

"I'm sorry." Harry mumbled as he held the ice pack against his forehead.

I let out a dry laugh. "You got piss drunk the one night we were suppose to be on our best behavior. Do you know how ridiculous I looked carrying you out of there?"

Harry groaned. "Stop yelling, I have a headache."

I sighed. "Why were you drinking so much?"

He didn't answer me. I went to the bed and removed the covers off his face. "Harry!"

He got up and glared at me. "Will you stop baby?! I already have enough stuff to deal with right now, I don't need you yelling at me like I'm your child."

I frowned at him. "I was just worried about you."

Harry sighed, placing his ice pack on the bedside table. "I-sorry umm- my past is not good. I've changed a lot. I-I don't want you to view me in a different light."

I sat near him. "I won't judge you. Just talk to me." I said softly.

Harry let out a deep sigh. "I was a troubled teenager and did stuff out of stupidity."

I nodded. "That's understandable. You were young, I'm not going to hold anything against you."

Harry traced my cheek. "I-I like you a lot, Zayn. I really do." He mumbled. "It's just-like it-"

I chuckled. "Why are you acting like this? Were you a drug dealer?"

Harry shook his head and got up. "No. Look, let's just focus on finishing this meeting with Ian. I just want us to be relaxed and calm."

I eyed him. "Fine, but you're going to have to tell me one day."

He nodded and stretched. "Yeah, I need a shower."

What is he hiding from me? Was he a serial killer or something? I softly chuckled. Harry as a serial killer just doesn't even make sense.

I laid back on the bed. "Hey?" Harry called out.

I hummed a response. "Do you want to get in with me?"

I bit my lip. "Um, I already showered." I said pointing at my casual jeans and t-shirt.

He slapped his forehead. "Crap, I didn't even realize. I'm never drinking again. I can't even think straight."

"I mean you're gay so..." I trailed off with a smirk.

Harry rolled his eyes playfully. "Your jokes are so lame. I'm canceling you."

I raised a brow. "You're not canceling anything. Now, hurry. The sooner we face Ian and get it over with, the better I'll feel."
