Chapter 48: He Narrated. (Part 2)
*Later That Night*
"Okay, Harry." Zayn snapped, as I took another picture of the cupcake he was holding.
He was about to put it in his mouth after I took a snap of it but I stopped him. "No, don't eat it yet."
He sighed and put it down. "What is it now?"
"Do you not see the design on this? I should be an artist at this point." I said, smiling at our cupcakes in front of us.
Zayn rolled his eyes. "Yes, babe. I'm very happy you did all of this but you've been taking pictures all night. Give it a rest already."
I smiled. "Fine, you can eat it now." I watched as he bit into it. He moaned as he chewed.
"Fuck. Tastes so good."
"Me or the cupcake?" I asked, wiggling my brows.
He blushed. "You are dirty at the most random times."
I shrugged. "I know. But seriously, how good is it?"
Zayn gave me a look. "You know it's good. No, not even. You know it's freaking delicious."
I smiled. "How was your birthday though? Did you have fun?" I asked, grabbing his hand.
Everyone left a few minutes ago and we all cleaned up before they left. I made sure of it.
Niall and Louis are just really messy people so it was mostly them cleaning after themselves. Liam and I took the trash out and Zayn, well he sat his pretty self down and watched us complain in amusement.
I wasn't really complaining about him though. After all, it is his birthday today and he had nothing to do with the many decorations that were surrounding us minutes before now.
I sat us down at the couch and looked at Zayn as he spoke to me. I was hearing him but I wasn't listen, my mind was wondering else where.
Just meters away from us, in our bedroom, I have a whole set up of rose pedals and wine. The wine is mostly for me because well, I'm scared shitless.
I know Zayn loves me but asking him to marry me...I just don't know how he'll react. I don't want to pressure him but we have been dating for over a year now and we do live together. I just want to take that final big step.
I love Zayn and I want something to symbolize that. I want him to be mine. Although he technically already is, marriage for me made it more special.
