Chapter 42: He Posted Me.

*Sunday Evening*

"Why are you so quiet?" I asked Harry. He just finished dropping off my sister at her friend, Ashley's house. We were driving back to my place and going to watch movies...and hopefully cuddle too.

He hummed. "Huh?"

"Huh?" I mimicked. "Is everything alright?"

He nodded. "Yeah, I'm just tired." He said, clenching and unclenching his jaw.

I narrowed my eyes. "Babe?"

Harry glanced at me for a few seconds before focusing on the road again. "Yes?"

"Are you upset about my sister bringing up Ashton?" I asked softly, playing with my fingers.

He nodded. "Yeah, but it's childish on my part to be mad so let's just drop the topic." He mumbled.

"If it makes you feel any better, you're a way better boyfriend. He can't compare at all to your awesomeness." I said, patting his hand that was resting on his thigh.

Harry chuckled. "Zayn, you don't have to do all of that to make me feel better. I just really don't like him. You and him dating doesn't make sense to me. You're...well you. And he's trash." He said, gripping the sheering wheel.

I licked my lips. "Are you...upset?"

"He's a jackass, that's all I have to say." He said.

I can still feel the tension in the car and leaned in when the light turned red. I turned his head toward me. "Are you mad at me?" I asked.

He sighed. "Of course not baby...but-"

I frowned. "But?"

"But...I never really thought about Ashton being your ex. Like yeah you mentioned it to me before but your sister bringing it up earlier made it finally register in my mind...which led me to picture him being in you." He said, turning his head forward and glaring at nothing in particular. "Let's just drop it." He murmured.

"We've been dating for two months, that's exciting." I said, changing the subject.

"Two months? It feels like way longer." He started to drive again as the light switched to green.

"Well, we started faking dating in the beginning of December. I don't know if you want to count those few weeks we were in LA. And we had that week break up."

"That week counts. I was only thinking about you during that." He said. "So we were dating in my head." He joked.

I laughed. "Alright and same with me."

He nodded. "Also, everything in LA was real for me. Nothing was fake."

I blushed. "Oh, okay. So like you had a thing for me the whole time there? Like even on the plane to LA when you held my hand?"
