RAPH
Where the fuck could they be??? I called Leo again.
"Hello?"
"Tell me where you are!" I paced her apartment with Donnie and Mikey sitting on the couch watching me.
"Raphael, I can't do that. You know this."
"You're just sayin' that so you can keep her to yourself!" I was gesturing wildly, wishing I could fight him. Oh man. If only we were in the same room.
"You need to calm down," he was patronizing me.
"Don't talk to me like that, Leo!" I could just picture him rolling his stupid eyes.
"Things are more complicated now."
"What the fuck does that mean?!"
"She remembers."
And just like that, I lost her again. I felt like I got punched in the stomach. All the air left my lungs. "So...." I let the word hang in the air.
"We'll be back when her period is over."
I slammed my radio back on my should strap and looked at Donnie.
"Well, you're supposed to be the genius!  Find out where they are!"
"I tried to track her phone but-"
"But...?!"
"She left it here," he said, nodding at her phone on the side table.
I rolled my eyes and growled.
"What about Leo?  Can you find him?!"
"He doesn't have a tracker. Raph, there's nothing I can do." He paused. "Except....". He started fidgeting with his watch. "I can check security cameras around the city..."

LEO
I went to the bathroom to take Ralph's call. I walked back into the bed room to find Alex in bed, awake, snuggled up watching tv. I leaned back on the door jam.
I was still in awe that she finally remembered. My baby was back. Ugh I have to come up with a better pet name. Fucking Raph called her that.
When she made eye contact with me, I couldn't help it, I gave her the biggest smile I've probably ever had. She smiled back and then asked, "what?"
"Nothing. I'm just so lucky."
I saw a blush creep up her face and she patted the bed, beckoning me over. I sat down and she nuzzled into what she called her "nook." On my chest right under my arm. Without fail, she fell asleep there. I finally felt at ease. The nightmare was over.

ALEXIS
After a week of watching movies, cuddling and making love, my period was over and Leo and I were getting ready to leave the hotel. The past few days I was so happy, but also still so conflicted. I wanted to be with Leo. I wanted a normal life with him. But how would that be possible? He took his "job" so seriously and would never quit. Even for me. I was a liability for him. All of them.
I tried to act normal all day before we left the hotel that night. But he seemed to sense that my mind was someplace else.
"You're not still thinking of leaving, are you?" He asked me point blank while I was packing my stuff up.
I glanced at him. His face was serious. I sighed.
"Please," he reached for my hand and tugged me to him. "I'll do whatever I have to, to keep you safe. If that means moving to a new neighborhood or me moving in with you...". His eyes were pleading. "I just can't lose you again."
"I just don't know, Leo," I whispered looking at his chest.
"Okay, well, just promise me you won't make any decision right now, ok? Give me a chance to come up with some alternatives."
"Okay," I said before melting into a huge hug.

I had to go back to my place and get some stuff before we went back to the lair. I unlocked my door and let myself in and got the shock of my life.  Raph was sitting on my couch, head in his hands. His head shot up when he saw me.
I froze, waiting to see what we happen.
"Alexis...." he said without moving.
Before I could react or the situation could escalate, Leo hopped in through the window and landed between us.
"I'm not gonna do anything, Leo," he mumbled without moving. "I just wanted to... apologize."  He looked deep into my eyes. His face was tired, like he hadn't slept in days.  "Alex," he began, his voice hoarse, still sitting on the couch, "I am so sorry. There's no excuse for any of it."
I looked over at Leo, who was watching him intently, waiting for him to make a move.  I shifted my eyes back to Raph. He stared at me.  I didn't know what to say so I just nodded.  What did he want?  Leo cleared his throat, probably trying to break our eye contact.  He also probably wanted me to tell Raph it was over.  Even if I didn't remember everything with Leo, how could Raph and I work through this?  There's no way.
"I remember everything," I blurted out. He didn't look surprised at all.  He just let out a sigh and stood up.  Leo straightened up and stood closer to me, side stepping me away from the window so Raph could leave.
"Could I talk to you for a minute, Leo?" He asked as he started to leave.  Leo glanced at me, gave a slight nod and he and Raph went out the window to talk on the fire escape.

LEO
What could he want to talk about?  I followed him onto the fire escape.
"Okay..." I said, making sure Alex wasn't listening.
"Look, I'm sorry, Leo, for everything.  I just want you to know that."  I looked down and nodded.  Is he being serious?  Raph never apologized. For anything.  Is he really letting her go this easily?   "I just want to make sure we're okay...."
I sighed. I can't be mad at him forever.  He's my brother.  And I know Alex doesn't want to come between us.  "We're okay," I said before putting my hand out to fist bump him.  "I'm sorry too," although I wasn't sure what for.

RAPH
"What's the plan now? Are you guys coming home?"  At least she'd be nearby.  And safe.
"For now," Leo said with his poker face.
      "Then?"
He looked over his shoulder and then back to me.  "She still wants to leave New York."  I felt my heart rate go up.  "I need to find a way to keep her safe above ground. She can't stay with us forever.  But the foot is out there looking for her...". I swallowed. My mouth was dry all of a sudden.  "Let's get her home and work from there."
