Monday. A start of a new hell week in De la Fontaine. For many, it's a dream come true to be able to enter this fantastic University, but it's just a solitary place for me.

"Silver! Hey! Dito!" I almost rolled my eyes because of the loud voice of Vana who's teeth are showing from smiling too much while trying to get my attention by waving. She clung her hand to mine when I went near her. "Can you ever lower down your voice?" Iritang sambit ko na tinawanan niya lang.

"Glad you're not late today. Baka sa Office na naman ang bagsak mo" she said that made me raised my brow. When she saw it, she gave me a peace sign.

Suddenly, the buzz fron the students was gone. Inalog ako ni Vana at agad na yumuko. When I saw them, I also bowed my head as they pass to us like a royalty.

From the way they walk and stood up, it all speaks power and authority. Everyday, I had to bow to them to show respect whenever I see them. It sucks to do it everyday but we have no choice. They rule the South and the De la Fontaine University.

I let her pull me to our first class after that dramatic scene in the field.

De la Fontaine's a big University with over eighteen thousand plus students. The buildings are very modern and the education system is high tech. Probably a dream school for others but this is far more different. South Valtimore is ruled by five of the families in Alpha Omega, a term used to call the strongest clans in Valtimore from the start. Passed down by generations, every families should have an heir and the people we just bowed unto, are some of them.

"Ms. Lindrae, care to answer the problem on the board?" The grumpy always angry teacher who always picks on me. I answered the problem less than a minute saka bumalik sa upuan ko.

"Let's see...hmmm" she said. Tahimik lang akong nakatingin sa harap. "Impressive, you got it again" Vana slapped my hand below the table and I saw her pressing her lips to stop herself from smiling. I shook my head and closed my tablet.

"Another point for you" she laughed ng makalabas na kami ng room. She's been trying to outsmart and bring me down every class but she can't. The problems that she gives are not even that hard pero halos magkandarapa na ang iba pati na si Vana para lang matutunan ang mga lessons.

"Why does she despise me by the way?" I asked Vanadium Aries, her real name. She stopped kaya napatigil din ako. Nakahawak kasi ito sa braso ko. "Duh? Ano pa ba? You're smarter and bes, maganda ka" she giggled after she whispered her last words. We sat at the very last row to watch from the big screen clearly. It's the Drama Class and we always watch a movie, a theather play or whatsoever then write an essay of 10,000 words and pass it right before the class ends. Vana hates this so much than the Math Class. We have to write that mich everyday at kung kulang ay may bawas. They can easily know that because we use our gadgets, mostle tablets and laptops to write and pass it.

Kinda a disadvantage for having a high tech education. Napatingin ako sa kanya ng hubarin niya ang suot niyang bracelet at singsing saka nilagay sa table sa gitna naming dalawa and rolled up the sleeves of her cardigan. I chuckled. "Hindi ka nalalamigan?" I asked. "Mas importante to" she started stretching her hands and neck bago magsimula ang movie.
