I was lying on the grass by the lake early in the morning to witness the sunrise. The birds soft chirpings and the sound of the cold smooth wind are perfect.

As the sun rises, I whispered to myself. "How are you?"

I spent a few minutes, lying with my closed eyes, just enjoying the calmness and peacefulness of nature. This is one thing I love about nature, it's peaceful even with the chaotic world. Natural Disasters are punishments but overall, Nature is peace.

"Stay away from Zyscher" napamulat ako ng marinig iyon. Napaupo ako. It's Shemis.

"Hindi naman ako ang lumalapit" I said with a small smile on my lips.

"I know. But don't get close to him that often. He's still inlove with Alesiana" I was shaking my head. Does she think I like Zyscher? No, no way.

"Ah. A bitter lover boy" I muttered. Binalingan ko siya ng tingin. "And you?" She blinked a few times when I caught her off guard.

I chuckled when she avoided my gaze.

"You like Zyscher right?" Tinapunan niya ako ng masamang tingin. I just smiled.

"Shut up" she scoffed before turning her back.

"Do you know why I left North?" I said habang nakatingin sa araw. I felt her stop and turn to look at me again.

"Because of your family you said, duh"

Shemis will be Shemis as always.

"I got cheated by Drexel and Jersaile" deretsahang sabi ko. I heard her footsteps hanggang sa nasa harap ko na siya.

Zyscher didn't tell them about this, eh?

"The reason why they were killed was because of Jersaile's jealousy over my position and my relationship with him. So she did everything to kick me out and break us apart" pagpatuloy ko.

"Why are you telling me this then?"

"Well, you can be trusted" narinig ko ang sarkastikong pagtawa niya.

"How sure are you? At paano mo naman nasabi yan?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Because I can feel and sense it, Shemis Daustremn"

She may be a bitch and acts like a spoiled brat, but out of everyone in the Monarch, she's the one whom you can trust.

"You're crazy of you think that way" she said. I sighed deeply."Then I'll be crazy then"

Natahimik kami pareho ng ilabg segundo. "How did you know you're being cheated?" Mahina pero may kuryusidad na tanong niya.

"I caught them having sexual intercourse" napaawang ang baba niya. "That's the worst! And...and--gross!" Natawa ako sa pandidiring pagsabi niya nun.

"Eh anong ginawa mo? Tell me you slapped that slut Jersaile" umiling ako.

"What?! You should've done that!" Lumapit pa siya sa akin at minaktulan ako.

"What's the point?" Marahas at hindi siya makapaniwalang napabuntong hininga.

"Oh God, I can't believe you did nothing!" Parang siya pa ang pinagtaksilan dahil sa reaksyon niya.
