Cato's POV
When we get back to camp Clove is stumbling, so I wrap my arm around her and help her sit down on a log."You ok, Clover," I ask her.
"Yea my head just hurts, and I am dizzy, and do you hear ringing," she asks me.
"No, why," I ask confused.
"I am hearing ringing like a bell," she tells me.
"Thresh must of slammed you against the cornucopia harder then we thought. Can you see straight," I ask her.
"Everything is blurry," she tells me. I start thinking she may have a concussion.
"Can you tell me how many fingers I am holding up," I ask her putting up three fingers.
"Uh, five?" She asks.
"No, three, I think you may have a concussion," I tell her, and a parachute falls into my lap. Inside there is a needle, a vile, and a note.
Cato,
The symptoms Clove has are concussion symptoms, inject her with this, and she should be better by tomorrow morning, y'all are doing great, just have the girl from 5, Katniss and Peeta left. Y'all can win, but don't give up and don't let Clove give up either,
Enobaria and Brutus.I take the needle, and fill it with with the medicine inside the vile, and walk over to where Clove is sitting.
"Your not going to like this, Clover but it'll help," I tell her.
"Wh.." she starts but gets cut off, by me injecting the needle into her arm.
"Cato, what the heck, that hurts, get that out of me!!," she yells, but I continue putting the medicine into her arm, and when I finish she starts to talk but falls asleep before she can get a word out.
I sit beside her and lay her head in my lap, and stroke her hair gently, and hear a cannon and hope it is Katniss or Peeta, but I look up into the sky and see FoxFace. That means that Katniss and Peeta are still alive. I fall asleep with that though, and thinking about me and Clove going back home as victors.
