Chapter 38

Cato's POV
When we get into the living room, we sit on the couch, and start planning the wedding.

"When do you want to have it," I ask Clove.

"Maybe in a month," she says, and I agree, and we work on this for a few hours.

A few hours later
When we decide to be done with that we decide to go for a walk. When we get out the door, Enobaria and Brutus walk up to us.

"Hey guys," I say.

"Hey Cato, Hey Clove we need to talk to y'all," Brutus says.

"Ok," Clove says and we go back into the house. When we get back into the living room we sit down.

"Ok, so what is it," I ask.

"The victory tour has been moved up to next week," Enobaria says.

"Why," Clove asks.

"We don't know, we just got a call from Snow, and he wants to speak to both of you, something about the Capital loving y'all or something," Brutus says, and I see the look on Clove's face change to fear.

"When will he want to speak to us," I ask.

"After the tour, when y'all are at the Capital," Enobaria says.

"Ok," I say, and Clove still looks freaked out, but I don't know why. Isn't it good that the Capital loves us?

"Clove are you ok," I ask.

"Yea I'm fine," she says hesitantly. I know she is lying but I don't say anything else.

A few hours later
When Enobaria and Brutus leave I decide to ask Clove what freaked her out earlier.

"Clover what happened earlier, when Brutus said the Capital loves us, you looked fearful," I ask her.

"Cato, you don't know what that means do you," she asks upset.

"What, what means?" I ask confused.

"Cato, the Capital loves us, do you remember that boy from 4, I think his name was Finnick, who won when he was 14, and what he does now," Clove asks me, and realization hits me.

"Clove that's probably not going to happen to us," I tell her.

"Cato, that is exactly what will happen," she tells me crying.

"Clover, listen to me, that will not happen," I tell her.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT!!!" She yells.

"I don't, but I will not let anyone hurt you, and you won't be forced into anything," I tell her.

Hey Guys, sorry I haven't been updating a lot lately, and that's because I had to go watch my brother play in a baseball tournament, and I have had theater, so I am trying to practice my lines, and have been busy with that, so anyways I hope y'all, aren't mad because I haven't been uploading a ton.
