Chapter 9 - The Truth

Roman was past out on the couch. I think we were only really counting down the days until he passed unless we could get the person that he loves to love him back.

I was frantically reading each letter. I read ecah three times before putting it down. I came to the letter he wrote for me. It was unlikely he liked me but the only other one was Remus's and they are brothers. Unless he has a crush on his brother no judgement he's not going to survive. Remus likes Janus.

I started reading down the page....

Dear Virgil

This is Roman. If you are reading this I have already passed and you have cleaned my room for the new side. I am sorry to say that the reasoning for my death was Hanahaki which is a fictional disease that I had towards you.

"What.... He... No!" I ran as fast as I could out the door into the main living room. Remuswas on the floor crying. Logan was doing chest compressions and Patton was trying to comfort Remus. Was I too late?

I rush over to Romans side. He's so pale a skinny. You could see the blood. That was on his Pyjamas already and the fresh blood dripping from his mouth. Logan said he had the smallledt heart beat so that's why he was doing compressions.

"Roman.... I don't know if you can hear me... But I love you..... As more than a friend..." Logan stopped the compressions.

"We were too late his heart stopped...."

Tears started to fall down my face. I can see them down Loagns aswell. Remus left out the most pain filled scream. If I wasnt already too upset I would have flinched and ran away but u was frozen crying into my arms that were now on the couch with my face in between them. Patton was crying aswell. Janus had appeared when Remus screamed and was in tears aswell. Him and Roman may not have had the best history but Roman helped him. And Janus Protected the Prince. But....

Roman was the first ever side to die and none of us knew how to handle it....i look to everyone.

"I'm not having a-anyone else die from this!" I sob out. "tell e-eachtoher who you all like now so n-no one else will die!"

Patton and logan had said ecahother and and so did Remsu and Janus. They were all still crying but now holding onto eachtoher. Virgil wanted to curl up in a ball. He was alone. The others Hadd someone to love them. But he had...... A dead body that was going to fade away at any second.....

"Jeeeeesus. Let me tell you. You all look horrible. Did someone die?"
