Melanie

I tapped my pencil on my desk as I looked at my test I sighed and looked around at everybody doing their test . An hour went by and we only had six minutes left of class so I scribbled random answers and turned my test in . The bell rang and I grabbed my things getting ready to leave.

"Melanie ." Ms. Goldie said before I could walk out the door I rolled my eyes and walked up to her and she handed me my paper .

"A twenty really Mel?" She asked as she sat on her desk .

"I'm gonna be honest I really don't enjoy Shakespeare." I said with a dry laugh .

"Melanie are you okay ?" She asked .

"I'm fine ." I shrugged .

"these last few weeks your grades have dropped dramatically and I've been hearing that you told your coach your thinking about quitting." she said concerned .

"like I said I've been having a hard time junior year is harder than I expected it to be I mean you understand right?  everyone has a rough time ." I said .

"Your right but I want you to call one of my most trustworthy students I think the both of you would be really good friends ." She said as she wrote a number on a sticky note .

"thank you for your offer but-

"would you like me to inform your parents?" she asked and I looked down and grabbed the sticky note .

"thanks ms. G ." I mumbled and walked out of her classroom and I walked past a trash can and stopped and backed up and crumbled up the sticky note and threw it away .

Lucas

I looked over at Nicole and her eyes fluttered open and she looked around and I looked back at the road and smiled .

"what did you do to me ." She said as she checked her body .

"nothin just drugged you and put you in my car ." I said while smirking .

"Why would you do that ." she snapped .

"because you were being annoying when all you had to do was get in the car ." I shrugged .

"so you take me without my consent ! that's low Lucas especially for you ." she snapped .

"consent ? I had your consent you were going anyway but don't tell lesi she would give me a whole lecture about how important the actual word is ." I said .

"exactly I said I didn't want to go with you now give me my phone ." she said as she pinched me .

"I don't have your phone you left it ." I said while mushing her head .

"I have to check in on the kids Lucas why didn't you get my phone !"

"see I missed this our loving sibling bond ." I said while nudging her and she mugged .

"and who was the one who ruined it ." She said .

"you , you put me in jail ."

"how did I put you in jail when I was locked in your room for 48 hours Lucas ."

"your guilty by association." I shrugged .

"whatever ." She mumbled.

"fine I'll apologize to you for being insensitive if you apologize to me for marrying Cortez ." I said while looking at her .
