49 BC Egypt. It is from here that my story will go, about how an ordinary-looking person who studied science, and met the goddess, Duat.

It was hot in the morning. The sand heated up under the scorching rays of the sun, and the travelers who wandered through the desert continued their journey on horseback. Not far away, a mile away, a caravan of people and camels could be seen. They carried their goods to the bazaars of other cities. They were dark-skinned men, almost sunburned. Their head was covered with fabrics that so perfectly concealed their faces. White fabrics, some were already dirty, and looked more like beggars' rags. They continued on their way to Thebes, it was there that trade took place now. Recently, the economy of Egypt has been falling due to poor harvests, and cattle were starving to death. Already approaching the gates of Thebes, the city opened before the travelers. A huge city, crowds of people on the streets near the counters, townspeople of all ages, from children to adults and the elderly. Everyone was in a hurry and bought something for themselves or their family, and yet the stranger who arrived from Memphis was no exception. The man was tall and a little dark, his clothes were unusual. His head was covered with white, patterned fabric covering his face and shoulders. There was a belt at the waist, in each pocket there was a scroll, these scrolls described not only what he saw, but also what he studied. His legs were in baggy trousers, just like the Persian people wore. His feet were shod with sandals of their skin, and rewound with pieces of cloth, and on his back could be seen a bow and a head of cabbage with arrows. Previously, this wanderer was engaged in crafts, and helped his brother, but after being deceived by the Demon, he left the house and began to wander in order to stop him one day. The stranger approached the counter to buy supplies of food and water in order to go further on his journey.

After purchasing water, food and the necessary scrolls, he headed deeper into the desert in order to find the Temple of the Gods and ask them for help. The stranger's hometown had been suffering from diseases for 2 years already, there was no harvest because of the locusts that ate the fields instantly, and the animals died of hunger one after another. The wandering through the desert was not long, because the evening began, and after it the night. It was time to rest, spend the night, and hit the road again in the morning. The night passed calmly for him, but the morning turned out to be unusual for him.

While loading his supplies in the morning, he noticed a small oasis. The palm trees of this oasis grew luxuriously in the middle of the desert, and the waterfall that released refreshing water seemed large.

-"You need to get some water and hit the road. Business awaits me, as well as the science of the unknown and unknown to me." - Taking out a flask from the bosom, he opened it and bent down to the water. A small surface passed through the water, and someone's figure appeared in the reflection. It was a short and almost short girl of about 18 in appearance, she had a mask on her face ... A dog? And the clothes were not the same as those of all the townspeople. She wore a mask over her face, which reminded him of the god Anubis, the clothes were light, and almost feminine, it consisted of a bandaged right hand almost higher to the shoulder and was made in the form of a sleeve, on the hip there was a belt that consisted of various scrolls and small flasks with different herbs, on her legs were baggy pants, the same as those worn by the Persians, or at least once worn, but her legs were bare, and without sandals. The girl's hair was also unusual, one side was as if shaved off, but the other side, she was, did not touch, as if they did not even shave it off.

-"Hello traveler. I see you came here to help me - the girl came closer to the wanderer and examined him. I am the goddess of death, and the sister of the supreme god Anubis has come to you to help you on your journey."-The girl's malicious smile aroused the traveler's interest.

-"Hello, O Goddess. I am Stanford and I travel alone in search of the Temple of the Gods. My city is now in a very bad condition, and I need the help of the gods. Still, having filled a flask of water, he closed it and put it on his belt."

-"Sorry ... But I am powerless, and I can not help you, but I will go with you in order to help you in your journey, and I will lead you to the Gods. Let's hurry, you need to come there before the Eclipse of the Planets and the Demon comes. "- coming closer to the wanderer, she takes his hand and goes further and further from the Oasis, straight to his horse. Their acquaintance was not long, but here's the way.

This is how their journey begins together ... .. The journey of the Goddess Duat, and the usual and unusual traveler, who so wants to help everyone, but receives nothing in return from the rest. The storm was approaching, and it was time to move on ..
