He walked out the police precinct with a smug smirk on his face satisfied with his actions. getting in the car he looked over at her nodding.
"was this really necessary?" she sighed immediately feeling a wave of guilt and regret rush over her
"yep and i'm not stopping til he realize he fucked with the wrong one" the man shrugged sparking up his blunt
"play with fire you get burned" the man mumbled taking a long drag from his blunt
the amount of people who were about to get hurt by one person's actions was crazy almost as crazy as the man. the man didn't care about who he hurt in the process of ruining the life of Raheem Epps. Raheem had no clue how his life was about to change for the worst.
coming to a halt at the end of the block the man unlocked the car doors.
"get out and make sure you keep your lips shut"
"i will" she breathed out hopping out the car being her walk to her house
he drove down the quiet streets humming the song that lowly played through the radio nodding his head. pulling up to hob's corner store he got out.
"wassup hob" he greeted
"pay today or leave now" hob waved him off continuing to stock the chips
"mmcht i always pay old hag"
"in what imaginary money?" hob mugged him
"funny" the man chuckled walking towards the cooler in the back grabbing a big red out
grabbing some chips, now and laters, and a pack of pork rinds he walked up to the counter. hob began scanning all of the man's items before giving him the total price. the man handed hob a 20 telling him to keep the change before walking out.

being as the rec center was near the corner store it took little to no time to get there. the man cut off the engine getting out the car.
"AYE HOMEBOY LEMME HOLLA AT YOU" he hollered
Raheem looked up from his phone getting up taking off. the man and some people began running after raheem taking different shortcuts to catch him. unfortunately raheem tripped in an alley making the man shake his head.
"and to think i taught you better" the man tsked
"man what i do?"
"what did you do?" the man mocked laughing humorously
"you took from me, from my family, the same people who helped you get money"
"i-ian get my whole cut man you know i need that money" raheem got up
"oh i know"
raheem was punched by the man before he was getting punched and kicked on by the other men. raheem couldn't fight all of them and every time he tried to fight one all of them swung harder with more power knocking him off his feet. it was 5 to 1 and raheem had no backup help or anyone he could call.
"imma teach you something about taking from the hands that fed you" the man smirked pulling out a gun shooting raheem twice in the abdomen
all the men ran away leaving a blooded and bruised up raheem to fend for himself. raheem hissed calling ri praying she picked up.
"hello?"
"b-bae i need you" raheem hissed applying pressure to his wounds
"what happened?!"
"i got jumped i'm in an alleyway on the corner McArthur"
"i'm on my way" ri said
raheem nooded as if she could see him looking up at the sky smiling. ri ran up to him pulling him up gently with the help of bug. the put him in the back of the car driving him to their home. ri and bug's mother was a R.N and so ri was going to have her check him out.
"what are you bleeding so much?!"
"i got shot too" raheem let out a painful chuckle
he brought this mess upon himself and now the repercussions of his selfish actions were catching up to him quickly. once bug parked the car they rushed to get him inside.
"MAAAA" ri yelled
"azaria why are yo- oh my god come on" she panicked
"ri go get my kit some peroxide and two clean wash cloths" her mother said
once raheem was a cleaned up and medicated he was sleeping in ri's bed.
