Nate's POV

I was on my way to lunch,well because our teacher from my previous class made us stay for more lecture because our graduation was nearing,so we were released from that classroom ten minutes late.

Just to be honest,seeing Selina happy with someone else just hurts me so bad.I mean,I want her to be happy,but sometimes I want to be that someone who she was happy with.I want to be the cause of her smiles.I want to be able to kiss her whenever I want.But I can't.I can't because she already has someone to do that with.

I regret not talking to her about our the night after the New Year's Party.I can see the hurt in her eyes when I was just there sitting on the bar stool on my phone,not talking to her.I regret being an asshole to her the day after that night because the next day she came back,she already has someone who'll love her.

That night when I saw her wearing that beautiful dress for our prom,I felt weak to the knees.She was extremely beautiful.My heart swelled,when she smiled at me.But then our moment has to be ruined by her oh-so lovely boyfriend.And when I saw them dance,my heart broke.I wish I get to dance with her.But then luckily,Midge gave her the sash and crown and made me dance with her.

Her smile was contagious.She was perfect.And when our dance was over I can't help but smile from ear to ear.And of course she and her boyfriend had to go.That night she didn't went home.And for another two nights.I guess she spend those days with her boyfriend.And I can tell that they were having fun by what she posted on Instagram,it even has the caption:beach vibes with my bae.

Damn,how I wish she could be mine.

"Help!Please help me!He-"a familiar feminine voice cried but then was cut off by...wait,was that a slap I heard?

I hurriedly went to the classroom and found Nick ready to take Selina's shirt off.

My eyes flickered to Selina who was shaking while sobbing and while tears stream down her face.My blood boil so I lunged at Nick and punched him straight to the jaw.I fired hit after hit until I was suddenly pulled away.

I looked back at Selina who was on the floor with Olivia,Lilian,Midge,and Jenna.All of them comforting her as she continued to cry.

I was dragged out of the classroom by Ethan and Sam while Kyle kept a hold on Nick who had a bleeding lip.

"You fucking bastard!How dare you touch her?!"I growled at him.

"I-I didn't mean to,"he replied.The audacity,wow.

"Fuck you,asshole!"if the boys weren't holding me back my hands will be around his neck right now.

"What's happening here?"the principal questioned with her hands on her hips.

Fuck this.

"This asshole right here touched my best friend,"I replied.

"To my office.Now!"she demanded.

We obeyed but I kept my eyes on Nick,whose head was hung low.

Once we arrived at her office,we immediately sat down on the chairs that were in front of her desk.I leaned back on my seat.My arms crossed over my chest.

"Please explain me what had happened,"the principal broke the silence.

I glared at Nick before answering,"I was walking to lunch when I heard someone cry out for help in a nearby classroom.When I went inside I saw him about to take her top off."

"Mr. Johnson?"

"I'm sorry,"was all he said.

So he's sorry now?
