You feel lost, stuck, and just think that life may not be that good at all. You might be wondering right now if God still got something for you, or if He has forgotten you now because you feel stuck right where you are. You find yourself looking around so often and you begin to doubt God. Because with all honesty? You might have even questioned if God is still real and not merely a product of human imagination for false hope.
You don't feel God anymore, and today might bring you to the place of confusion because what if He's not really how you perceive Him to be, and He's not really gonna bring you to the breakthrough that He has promised?
Friend, let me tell you that the Lord isn't really how we perceive Him to be. He is way beyond how we see Him, He is more than the imagination of a limited mind. He is more than His promises and His fulfilled promises. He is more than how He showed us who He is in those Bible characters. He is more than your thoughts and your situation.
He is here. He is working behind. He is doing something. Just because you don't see anything, it isn't there anymore. Just because you don't feel the Lord, He isn't there beside you. Your feelings most of the time do not align with God's truth. That's why He's continually reminding you to read His Word, His truth that heals.
So, if you're stuck and if you feel haste to move forward or just get away from there, remind yourself to settle, be calm, and take a pause. In that situation, He wants you to trust in Him more, to step up your faith game, to be expectant for what He has in store for you.
Seek, let Him pursue you, and you will find Him.
Hold on to the purpose of process and waiting. The process and the waiting aren't there to show that God doesn't care, and that you do not matter. They're also not there to show you that you are less than anybody else, and that you're left behind, and that you've missed out the things that are meant for you.
You gotta stop camping out in these ugly thoughts and start declaring truths over your life.
In that process and waiting, they are for you, to prepare you for what's to come, and for the next season in your life. It's to help you build your character, patience, endurance, faith, wisdom, and strength. It's to protect you from the consequences of misaligning your timing with God's. It's there to give you room for improvement before arriving at your destination and receiving your reward.
The Lord is giving you lessons today, He is letting you grow in this season, and soon in His time, you're gonna reap because your labor is not in vain.
Just like what C.S. Lewis said, God keeps no one waiting unless it is good for him to wait. God didn't forget you, and the plans He has for you are never nullified.
There's an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
