Lily's pov~
As soon as I stepped through the portrait, Sirius jumped on me, pushing my hole body to the ground as he laid on top of me. I shoved at his chest to try remove him, but he wouldn't budge.
"Get off of me" i said through gritted teeth.
"Lily's here!" he shouted to the whole common room. I thanked him for the announcement and rolled my eyes. Potter walked over and put a hand on his shoulder, pulling him off of me.
"You're crushing her Padfoot," he reprimanded. He offered his hand out to me and i took it, allowing him to pull me to my feet. As soon as I was steady, I snatched my hand away. He didn't seem to notice as his eyes were too busy scanning my body, lingering in certain places. "I was right." he said, his eyes glinting with mischief.
"Right about what?" I asked.
"Right about you being the hottest person here, even in sweats." I blushed and he grinned at me, "I'm going to get some firewhisky, you want?"
"Nah, i have a test tomorrow."
"It's Friday Lily and it's a Hogsmeade weekend, so I know for a fact you don't have anything on." I shoo my head, smiling slightly.
"Fine, but if I get wasted, you better make sure I get back to our common room or Merlin help you," I said it light-heartedly but his face was smiling, with a lack of mirth when I looked at him.
"Of course I will." He promised.
~~~~~~~~~30 minutes and fourteen shots later~~~~~~~~
3rd person~
"Why is no-one dancing with me?" Marlene half-groaned, half-slurred. She was swaying her hips to a beat that only she could hear. Sirius stood behind her and gripped her waist roughly as he spun her to face him.
"I volunteer as tribute," Sirius smirked, as she ground her hips against him. They made their way to the centre of the room where he stood on the table and helped Marlene to join him. She danced against him, wiggling her bum and swaying arms above her head. With the ABBA song 'Lay all your love on me' filling the background, the pair danced, not at all gracefully. They continued dancing, her grinding up against him, while their friends stood around the table laughing and cheering. Lily looked around at her friends and her heart felt full.
She nudged Mary gently, "Where's Alice gone?" she asked.
"Left with Frank about five minutes ago." Mary laughed loudly, before downing another shot and slinging her arm around James' shoulders. He looked down at her, confusion and uncomfortableness on his face. He peered over her head, catching Lily's eye and giving her a look that said "Why the hell is your friend all over me?" She shrugged her shoulders and turned away, just as Mary demanded to dance with James. James declined politely and moved her over to where Remus was standing. He unhooked her arms from his neck and draped them over Remus' shoulders. Remus glared at him, but wrapped an arm around her middle, holding her upright, as James backed away slowly.
He turned back towards the middle of the room and stood next to Sirius as Lily and Marlene duetted 'hey Jude' on the makeshift stage. They danced in sync, wiggling their hips and leaning forwards to shimmy their arms. Lily's hair flew around her shoulders, she looked and felt carefree, young and wild.
"My feet hurt" Marlene yelled over the music, after they had climbed down from the table. They were now at the drinks station, refilling their cups. Her long blonde hair was flung across her face and her skirt had ridden up her thigh. "Maybe we should go to bed," she suggested. Lily shook her head enthusiastically.
"Let's have a sleepover!" she shouted. By now, their was only the seventh years and a few sixth years left and the music had been tuned down to the point that Lily could be heard by everyone in the room. "Find Alice and let's go!" she exclaimed, using her arm to get into superman position and spilling her drink in the meantime. James swaggered over to her.
