I scratched at my palm. I was going through withdrawals and I knew it.

I quickly called Will.

"I need a fix." I spoke, hearing silence on the other end.

"You what?"

"Those pulls you gave me. I need more." I declared, sitting on the roof of the house.

"Y/N, I don't have anymore." I scratched at my palm.

"Well do you have anything similar? Please Will, I hate feeling like this." I pleaded, my leg bouncing up and down.

"I'll be over in a few minutes."

"Okay."

When he found his way into the roof he handed me a bag of little syringes.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Snow or blow as they call it on the streets." I looked at him confused.

"It's cocaine, Y/N." My eyes grew wide.

"You only need a little bit. It gives the same feeling." He took out a syringe.

"Do you trust me?" He asked and I was hesitant.

He watched as I slowly laid my arm out.

He used the syringe to soak up some of the liquid in the bottle and held my arm still.

"It's going to sting, but trust me." I nodded and watched as he slowly pushed the needle into my vein, injecting the liquid.

He was right, when he injected it, it burned like hell. But it slowly faded away.

I felt the withdrawal symptoms go away and soon felt the same high as before.

He took the money from me and left.

I hide the syringes in the tin and under my pillow.

I felt amazing.

When I woke up, I felt like I was hung over.

I looked on my phone, seeing photos of Brad and I at the club.

There were videos of Brad and Will fighting, and lastly a picture of Brad putting his hand around my throat and kissing me.

He didn't change. He never will.

And look at me. I'm just a toy, his toy. It's all I'll ever be.

He's all I have.

The thoughts ran through my mind and I didn't have any control over them.

I brought the tin in the bathroom with me, filling the tub with water.

I locked the door.

"Y/N?" Her voice sounded distant, underwater.

I brought my hand under the sink, finding the blade I taped under there when I was 14.

I brought it out, undressing and sitting in the lukewarm water.

I extended my forearm out, injecting the liquid into myself.

I didn't notice that it was more than what Will had given me.

I brought the blade to my skin, the pain wasn't there when I slide it across my skin.

There was no pain. So I continued.

No pain. I couldn't feel it.

All I could feel was the blood dripping down my wrists and into the water.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" Ashley was there with Lauren now.

"Y/N? Come on, open the door." Lauren pleaded.

I was frozen. My body felt heavy.

"Y/N!" Ashley began to panic.

The knocks turned into pounding and the pounding turned into kicks.

"Y/N! Oh my god!" Tears filled those beautiful green eyes.

"MOM, DAD! CALL AN AMBULANCE!" Ashley screamed as she got me out of the tub and wrapped me in a towel.

Lauren put pressure against the wounds on my wrists.

"Y/N, Y/N. Hey, can you hear me?" Lauren patted my cheek.

Ashley found the syringes. "What is this?" She whispered to herself.

When she read the label of the bottle she panicked.

I felt all my muscles tense up and Ashley screamed for help.

"She's having a seizure!" My vision became black.

I woke up in a hospital bed. My limbs felt tingly.

I looked around. The room was empty, so I pressed the nurse button.

"You're awake! Thank god!" The nurse rushed in and checked over a few things.

"What's your name?" I looked around.

"Y/N. Y/N Frangipane." She nodded.

"Good. How old are you?" I looked at the clock.

7:27pm.

"Y/N, honey. How old are you?" My head snapped up at the sound of my name being called.

"22." I spoke up, making her nod.

"Why are you here, Y/N?" I looked down, fiddling with the gauze over my wrists.

"I know why... I just don't want to say it..." she nodded.

"I'll let your family know you're awake." I nodded and after a few minutes everyone piled in.

"Ah ah ah! Two at a time!" The nurse scolded them.

My parents stayed.

"Y/N, honey!" My mom cried out.

"W-We didn't think you'd make it..." I looked down, ashamed of my actions.

"She's been through enough, Nicole. Let her rest." My mom nodded and they both left a kiss on my forehead before leaving.

Lauren and Ashley entered.

Both girls were ready eyed.

"Four days. Four days, Y/N... you've been in a coma for four days..." Ashley ran to me, hugging me tightly. Four days, that means today is New Years..

"I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. I just..." I felt the familiar feeling of the withdrawal symptoms and scratched at my palm.

"Now that you're awake. We will be sending you to a rehabilitation hospital." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"I'll let Demi in." Ashley spoke and she left.

THE Demi Lovato came in.

"Hi, I'm Demi." I was gobsmacked.

"I-I-I...holyshit." She giggled.

Lauren held my hand.

"You're a dumbass, you know that?" I smiled.

"Yeah. I know. I think we've established that." Lauren looked into my eyes, a smile on her lips.

"Okay, I don't know if you two are going to kiss or..." Lauren and I immediately pulled apart.

"We're just friends." I blushed, making Demi eyeball us.

"Mhmm."

"I came to tell you, Y/N. That no matter what, you need to keep fighting. Not just for everyone around you, but for you. You have such a bright future ahead of you. You just released your first single. Everyone loves it." I smiled at that.

"No matter how long it takes in rehab, we'll all be waiting for you." I nodded and held Lauren's hand in mine.

I can do this.

For me.
