"Kasumi, Kasumi...KASUMI!!"
"Gaah, what is it?"
"We're supposed to go toward the waters to train." Ryo said.
"Che, loser." I stared back at Daichi with a mask of indifference.
"If I wanted your opinion I'd give it to you." Ha, like you'll understand that. *smirks*
That shut him up all right, though not before sending me a death glare. Him and his emo-ness...
"Kasumi!! Don't be mean to Daichi!" a certain fan girl shrieked.
Sensei just watched us with amusement.
La la la~ Can't hear you~
I walked toward the lake along with all my other teammates, before being unluckily pushed into the water.
"F**********ck. Now I'm all wet...who the the hell did this?! When I find out he or she are so DEAD."
I cracked my knuckles looking around to see who had pushed me into the water.
"S-s-sorry...I did i-it." I looked over at Amaya. "So it was you..." I stared at her shaking figure and reluctantly let it go. The poor girl looked like she was going to piss her pants. Besides...Daichi might've done it...
I sighed, "No big deal...I'll let it go, but only this time alright?" She nodded her head vigorously.
"All right brats, time to train. No time for worthless dawdling! Pick a spot in the lake and start focusing your energy! Empty your mind and stay calm, this takes time ya know? Just try to at least move the water or make ripples. Get on with it!!" Sensei went all Sparta on us, yelling orders every second or do.
Okay, stay calm... Focus... Concentrate...
...
....
.....am I supposed to feel something? I looked over at the others.
Daichi was already making waves, and both Ryo and Amaya managed to create ripples. Man...I feel so weak...even that FANGIRL managed to do it!
But...you are.
Shut up Kitsune. You're not helping.
1 hour later...(SpongeBob voice)
ARRGGGGHHH. I splashed at the water angrily. Why. Can't. I. Get. This. Magic. Water. Thing. To. WORK!!
*ROAR*
All the others sat at the edge of the lake, happily munching on their onigiri. Grrr. Sensei only let those who made the water move eat lunch.
"Senseeeeiii."
"What?"
She barely looked up from the book she was reading.
"Hooooow do you make the water move?" I whined.
"I've told you about a hundred times. Focus your energy."
"Real helpful..." I muttered under my breath.
"Che, you call yourself a magic user, and you can't even do a simple thing and move water? Even Ryo and Amaya could do this. Purely...child's play."
This guy reeeaaally knew how to push my buttons. I growled lowly.
"Don't kill each other." Sensei said in a bored tone.
I turned to her, surprised. I didn't see her look up from her book once.
I glared at him and walked deeper and deeper into the water, till I was submerged completely. The water was warm and comfortable.
It felt really, really nice, like jumping on a pile of soft feathers. Small dull colored fish whizzed by, leaving a row of bubbles.
Listening closely, I heard a...song? I listened harder and soon the music began to become clearer and clearer. Whooshes of water, small popping bubbles, and snaps. I smiled to myself, why didn't I try this sooner?
As lame as it sounds, I felt myself be one with the water, even though it was just for a moment. Something warm sprouted from my chest and I pictured the water moving. Come on.
I felt something push on my back, it was faint but at least I was doing something. Harder, it has to be harder. I needed to push harder!
With one last push, I swam up to the surface to get some air. One can only hold ones breath for so long, a wise man once said.(JOKING, fooled you didn't I?)
I'm not superman, durr.
The moment I popped up, a wave crashed on top of me and washed me to the shore; drenching every one in the process. That's what you get for eating lunch before me...tee hee.
I laid sprawled across the ground spitting and sputtering the water from the lake while others just sat there from shock. Well, until one of them, hint hint Daichi, started yelling curses in my ear.
I, of course being the fabulous person I am, ignored him and headed towards the onigiri basket.
"Ongiri. Onigiri. Onigiri!"
I laughed creepily and started to visibly drool. Lunging toward the basket and ripping open the basket, I stared...
Stared....
.....and screamed.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!
Every asked at the same time, "What happened?!"
"M-my o-o-onigiri. G-gone."
An evil aura surrounded me as I stared at the basket. "I-I worked s-so hard for nothing?! Now, spit it out who ate the last few onigiri?"
Silence.
"SPIT IT OUT!!"
Sensei spoke up, "We'll make more onigiri okay? You'll get more than the others." My shoulders slumped, and I relaxed a bit. "Fine."
After that, no one dared touch Kasumi's share of food. Even now, we still don't know who ate her onigiri...
Who do you think ate her onigiri?
