I had the most beautiful dream.

I lived in a house that was on a hill, surrounded by fields that lead to natural wildlife areas. One day I went out and found this hospital thingy for people who are really sick, cars were honking their horns and people were generally being impatient, one woman talked directly to me so I struck up a conversation about how you should just enjoy your moments. I then told her my story, while climbing up this beautiful cherry blossom tree. We talked before a seemingly crazy old man and a kid came into view.

He was apparently teaching her tree climbing, but in a very strange way. He would calmly sing something as he climbed ahead and she would follow, laughing or whatever. After a while she left and ran home, that's when this man spoke to me and he taught me how to climb even better than before. He had two pet snakes he used as a sorta distraction, if you allowed them to get too close they would bite you. They weren't poisonous, maybe.

But then the scene switched to showing me some photos of him and me. Then I was taking pictures with his Polaroid instant camera as I was walking home. On the way I went by and saw some workers in the area, they were probably going to put a highway or something in front of the house.

The entire thing was in first person (which never happens to me), and it just had this fuzzy glow. It seemed like someone painted or digitally drew it. It was so innocent and real. I felt fear everytime I heard a branch snap, I felt worry when I saw the construction workers, yet when I spoke of my mother I felt nothing but peace. Not the haunting numbness or the immense dread, but calming peace.

I should've know it was a dream the moment there was a strange and very creepy car. It could open up it's top by splitting down the middle and laying flat down, the entire thing looking like fabric. When it was an actual car, it had this poorly painted cream and yellow elephant design.

Still, I loved that dream and now I'm sad I woke up.
